The sound engineers at KEXP are seriously the best. These videos the most amazingly documented performances on KZread. Also, Mew are amazing. Such a great band and sound perfect live.

I'll never forget buying 'glass handed kites' as a totally random purchase from HMV donkeys years ago, been a big fan ever since

And the Glass Handed Kites is one of my all time favorite albums.

In my top 5 bands of all time for sure. And that goes back to the 60's. Just so dreamlike melodic on many levels.

Love Mew. Definitely more a fan of their older material but no matter what they play it's beautiful, seeing them on KEXP was a nice surprise. Hope these guys just keep churning out albums forever, regardless of any stylistic drifts along the way.

@@runningcoyote9972 IMO, their ultimate album is And the Glass Handed Kites. The vocal, the guitar, the drum, & the bass sounds were at their peak of harmony. The flow of each song is unique.

@@P.Whitestrake I don't know. I think it's really hard to pick. Frengers was a pretty freaking awesome album, but my favorite album probably has to be A Triumph For Man. Half The World Is Watching is also album holds a special place in my heart because it brings me back when my wife and I started dating.

People are so accustomed to his higher vocals that they forget he has a fantastic overall range that more than just hitting high notes (me included). He's an amazing singer.

This is the perfect band.

I miss him too. I feel that Mew's soul is strong because of Jonas' voice & Bo's guitar. Without Bo, Mew sounds different. Still good but different. His guitar play makes Mew's music sounds very unique.

Bo is definitely missed.

God I can't stand the guitarist. His riffs are crap and he's allowed to sing even though it sounds like shit. Mew died with Bo's exit!
