The solo in this song has always been one of my favorites, the rythem in the background makes it all the better! They are literally speaking with their guitars. GREAT SONG!

This was song number 2 on the album. Comes on immediately after Fight Fire With Fire. Best one-two punch opening of any Metal album. Though I remember talking to a guy I knew years ago and he made a good point that if this whole album had the production quality of Master of Puppets this would be considered Metallica's best album and I have to agree with that sentiment. Still this album just blows my mind as it doesn't sound like any other Metallica album or any other Metal album but it's own unique thing.

This is easily my favorite Metallica album. Production was great, Burton was a monster and you can definitely tell Dave Mustaine had major influence on it which threw gas on the Metallica/Mustaine feud. From the intro track Fight Fire with Fire to Call of Cthulu, just epic.

No offense to Dave here, he did recieve some credits for the rytym spider chords. Kirk absolutely destroyed this solo and had nothing to do with Dave. It was just a fantastic solo by Kirk, onstage my favorites of all time. I can't say that about any of Megadeaths solos, and they are my #2. #2 for a reason. Metallica knows how to put down a good riif and solo without over complicating it like the minority "it's not complicated" heavy metal losers. You should thank Metallica for your little band even existing. They paved the way for heavy metal bands
