Great reaction, but I feel obliged to point out one thing you got wrong: albeit War did feature in the game Alan Wake along with "Children of the Elder God" and "The Poet and the Muse", it was in fact presented by an in-game radio host as "A song by the band which kinda reminds me of our local band, Old Gods of Asgard. So, this is War by Poets of the Fall". Therefore, the latter two are under the alias "Old Gods of Asgard", and the former, "War", goes under the name Poets of the Fall in the soundtrack.

I got stuck in the game on that particular fight sequence with War in it, so I heard those lines and the song like dozen times in a row) It's just if War were officially by Old Gods, Poets wouldn't have been able to play it on their concerts like ever (like they haven't ever played the other two songs live, smth to do with copyrights for Old Gods being out of their hands, if I'm not mistaken). The way things are, this song is quite recurrent in PotF setlists, which is very well-deserved, for it is absolutely great to see performed live :)

Another good song from Poets of the Fall! Next on the line as far as 'Old Gods of Asgard' goes are "Children of the Elder Gods" and "Poet and the Muse". But, what I'd like to see you listen to, are Starset's Ricochet and Monster, and Silent Theory's Fragile Minds. Personally, they're amazing and rather emotional pieces..

Balance slays the demon is my personal favorite. Don´t get me wrong. If I am objective, this song is better. But sometimes I just need something with a bit more kick to it.
