He talks about feeling mortal stalking, feeling the darkness like that of a 100 year old house, losing his mind, trying to consume, the drug in me is YOU. Corey Taylor can’t do the crazy rap that somehow works in metal/rock, and Ronnie can’t do that thing Corey does that no one else can (idk how to describe it, but when you hear it you know). Once you hit a certain level, people are different, not so much better or worse

    Falling in Reverse was a band that needed to evolve. Certain other metalcore bands are at a point where it would not be great if they evolved. For example, As I Lay Dying. Arguably the best metalcore band out there. Heavy as fuck. They don’t need to evolve, they’re already the best version of themselves.

Whereas last years album form AILD became background noise quickly because it sounds exactly the same (as a huge fan of the sound they have it is still a great album) but calling them the best and not in need of a change is dumb. They shouldn't change drastically but they have to use more than either 5-7-8 or 0-8-10 for riffing

    the song in its entirety gives me chills in both the studio & live versions (i saw him perform it live a few days ago) and it was amazing, ronnie is a very talented man and i love both the original in this version because they're both special in their own ways.

    Songs like this when they use the progression of their own feelings. Straight shot to the feel tank. (So I saw this video when it dropped and knew how it ended before you saw it. When you said "I wonder how they end this" literally seconds before the drop, Ibelike "Wait for it.") I loved it but not going to lie the way it ended made me think of 2000's AFI or even What It Is To Burn by Finch. Why, I don't know. I'm old.

I know he had a pianist come up with the composition of the piano part but he's played piano for such a long time and plays it very well. Such an amazing talent.     It's so bland. The way it was mixed is ass The volume of the guitars are turned way down and it sounds like bull shit radio rock. At least The Violence had some impact during the choruses. That song is just bland all together and I gurantee it's about the fans that shit on them.

    Ronnie is a master of building up a song. Even small words..the first chorus he says "I lost my GODDAMN mind, it happens all the time." Then in the end when it is ramping up he switches it to "I lost my FUCKING mind, and there's no FUCKING time." little change just gave me chills.

    Stephen j That’s not what I said, or what the original comment said. I said “all genres” as I was quoting the original comment. Ronnie is not the best vocalist over all genres. He’d get his ass kicked in classical, he’d get his ass kicked in almost anything that isn’t post-hardcore.
