FALLING IN REVERSE - The Drug In Me Is Reimagined - Vocal Coach & Professional Singer Reaction

Today I checked out beautiful audiovisual performance of Falling In Reverse and their song The Drug In Me Is Reimagined. I definitely loved them not only from vocal coach reacts point, but also Ronnie Radke and his emotional delivery of this heart wrenching song. The work with contrast is incredible and the way he switches between voices is really effortless. It was an amazing and very emotional first time reaction!

I loved this one. Until now every single time I hear that switch it triggers tons of emotions for me. My teenage years were not easy, I dealt with tons of depression and stuff that happened that I couldnt process. So this is a PSA for anyone who needs to hear it: It will get better. Eventually. With love, Kat.

When he goes into his vocal fry during the second verse, it hits so hard. You can literally feel the hopelessness, the agony, the despair. It sounds like pure desperation, like he is pleading with himself or someone else. The whole song is great, but that verse in particular was just masterfully done, and the transition between that part and the following part where he goes breathy and soft, really illustrates a man descending into madness and emptiness, he's so vulnerable and broken, i honestly don't think it could have been done any better.

While Ronnie neither had a gun nor shot anyone, he was still given a probationary sentence for organizing that fight. He was told he had to quit drugs and take a drug test every month. At that time he was too careless and did not take it seriously and failed to show up for a drug test. He didn't quit drugs then. Hi just discovered your channel, so glad I did, that by far was one of my favorite reactions to this song, kudos! I'm not a great singer, but I used to be a sound engineer in my younger days, little live stuff, little studio. So I loved that you pointed out that they didn't clean up the vocals too much on this track, I noticed that the first time I heard it, not only is it good producing, but I think especially suites this song, hearing the rawness, almost vulnerability of his voice was the cherry on top of a great song. I was looking forward to you reacting to the hard rock drop, then I felt bad it scared you so bad and got to you at first, and then glad to see you liked it over all. What I love about this band, and the singer Ronnie, and you'll see this in their other videos, is they have brought back the art of a great music video. I was a late 80's kid when MTV still played videos..lol, and it is such a breath of fresh air to have videos that stir your soul as much as the song does. Ok, I'll quit rambling now, too much coffee, cheers! ✌️❤️️

I, like you, suffered from depression. Songs like this got me through some very tough days. Hopefully you don't have that in your life still but if you do, just know you're not alone.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who gets extremely emotional hearing this song. I actually bawled this time. Especially with "I can't believe that I'm actually meant to be here". The whole song really gets to me, but that line though, it kills me... and the water works commence.

In case you haven't seen it, you should really watch "The Drug In Me Is You" which they had released 9 years earlier (of which this is the reimagining). The lyrics are exactly the same but the style is incredibly different.

Hi...thx to sharing with us your "feeling "reaction !!! I like Music cause i'm French musician, but since one year, is just say that... That's not a simple song...this is A MASTERPIECE !!! If you feel the suffering about this Deep lyrics, the high range to capture this video, the scenic level about all this "kicking" song in face... Genius moment in life to "Re-imagined" this song after 9 years, right ? listen 1000 times and always the same thrills every time? it is proof that it is a masterpiece... i'm sure many people think that... A killing story but absolutely................ i don't find others words. Thx a lots Dear & see soon here Regards from France
