TIL this game has Gekko. I learnt this 5 years later because it’s Metal Gear Survive.

Metal gear survive could've been really cool of they added more iconic and crazy shit like this as enemies from throughout the metal gear timeline (like the gekko) that just got sucked into the world of Dite for you to fight.

I'm suprised to see the MG Gekko in MG Survive. For those who have played the game, are these gekko encountered in the story missions?

Gekkos are only found in multiplayer salvage missions during the "2014" event when it happens. Not in the single player story.

@@kellenmoon3084 its not easy to make a game remake. A remaster, probably. But i remember MGS1 and MGS2 Got an HD release years ago. MG3 was remastered in Japanese Pachinko, and MGS4 is still downloadable in the PS platforms. + MGS 1, 2 and 4 including MGSR is the conclusion of the whole MGS, so I think they will, and must remain as they are. + Kojima gone from Konami, a remake is technically impossible. Else Konami will ruin the 4 masterpieces just as how the MGS Survive hilariously Flap.

Wait a sec, you didn't kill that thing with just a fence and spear poke! Those reviewers said all you need is fence and poke to kill everything! I'm obviously being sarcastic about those videos. I have lots of fun in this game and still hop on time to time. (Trying solo is too difficult for me)

@@thezodiacdrifter2940 People play that playstyle because it's the only rewarding playstyle. MGSV was never meant to be a zombie survival sim to begin with, and Konami went in putting the lowest effort possible into this game.

@@kyotanaka920 It's a tower defense game dude. Game would be much better if there was a way to nullify the hit stun. It's crazy how that is. The scaling is terrible too, along with the choice to make progression only through singleplayer. There's a lot of weird singleplayer baked into the multiplayer which just makes the game harder to play with friends with less time, but if you had started out with all the abilities you eventually earn, it would have been a lot more accessible and fun game. For example, if they lessened the grind for items, allowed you to progressively obtain workbenches through multiplayer, with singleplayer being a SECONDARY OPTIONAL decision for progression, and lastly tweaking certain item costs to lessen the grinding. These are just examples I think would have made this game so much better. This is definitely not the lowest effort because if you actually played the game, you can tell they had a team that really put effort into it with the actual gameplay; only problem with the game is mired in terrible decision making by the devs and the company at the time. It's just bad all round, everyone knows how shit konami is with their pachinko machines.

They really dumbed the hell down my favorite MGS4 game: in the original MGS4 the way you could kill a Gekko was either with an explosive like an RPG (which some versions of the Gekko are immune to) or by shooting the legs and then the soft spot on it’s head. I don’t like how oversimplified this is.

such a good game, if only it wasnt called metal gear and they gave it post launch support wiht content updates and light montization, more game modes maybe a dueling system and singleplayer co op free roam better starting snamina machanics, more ways to heal early on, more weapons better skill tree, An invasion feature like in MGSV, better crew grinds. so much potential, too bad this game was DOA. all they had to do was change the name.
