The Hot Rockin video was cheesy like the heading out to the highway vid but that's what made them killer! If someone asked me what my favorite Judas priest song was I would just have to say "yes"

Electric Eye - now that's a monster riff. Great lyrics too - and very apt for today's society!

I remeber coming up with a riff thinking how fucking cool and original it was... it was Electric Eye note to note and I was devastated when I heard it. Then I was headbangin' so hard I forgot about it.

Couldn't watch this fast enough. My 76 year old father and I am huge Priest fans. Our cousins in Laconia, NH got us into Priest.

Glad you have The Sentinel up there. My favourite Priest song ever, easily. Next favourite is Freewheel Burning! Include that in volume 2!

The entire Defenders Of The Faith album completely blew me away the first time I heard it. I've truly never heard an album like that since and it still gets the same reaction every time I hear it now. Freewheel Burning just pummels you right out the gates and the energy doesn't let up the whole way through the album and by the time the title track comes stomping through, it's such an anthemic sound and leaves your ears ringing for hours.

I drove 50 miles with a friend in a blizzard to see them. We got in the concert for free because there was a blizzard. It was an awesome show. They sounded great!

Victim of changes has always been my favorite!

Painkiller is my number 1, glad to see it on your list!

Green Manalishi is one of my favorite Priest songs (written by Peter Green's Fleetwood mac) that I loved playing in my garage band.

Amazing choices, i have pretty much the same list! 🤘 Saw them last june in Zurich, Switzerland it was beyond awesome. Richie Faulkner played three songs with a pick and after Painkiller he threw it in the crowd and i was able to catch it, that was awesome! Also i saw Phil Campbell (Guitarist from Motörhead) with his new project in octobre in a very small venue, which i don‘t understand to this day why such a legend was playing in a verd very small venue, but it made the concert even more personal so i had no problem with it. I was in the first row and Phil gave me a pick right in the hand. I am very emotional when it comes to that, i almost had an heart attack after touching Phils hand 😂. That was awesome

When I was fourteen I was big into running track and thought people that listened to stuff like Priest were strange. I think I got into metal when I was maybe in my early twenties. I remember all the metal heads in my high school played hacky sack during lunch time and I don't remember a whole lot of jocks were into metal. Damn I'm glad we have guys like you to keep it alive

Cool list, some of my all-time faves for sure (Solar Angels is awesome!). Exciter and Tyrant are two that definitely are worth consideration as well, killer riffs!

Yes, I remember the compact cassette and still have a few from 30 or so years ago. The compact cassette came after the 8 track and before that was reel to reel and before that was nothing but vinyl.

Screaming for Vengeance remains as my Fav Judas Priest album. (I'm 55) One of my favorite riffs is "Exciter". One of their best IMO.

Judas Priest were absolutely never afraid to get their hair cut at Fantastic Sam’s.

Electric Eye is such a monumental inhuman song. Sadly lyrically so disturbingly accurate and even more and more actual it sends shivers down my spine. Btw Solar Angels is one of my TOP 20 Priest songs

Very good list and playing. Would like to mention something from Stained Class, such as Tyrant main riff, Saints in Hell (that heavy riff). Also Genocide, Steeler (outro). And hundreds of others haha. The greatest metal band of all time.
