The copy the AI generates is very boring. people can sniff out the AI language. we still need to use our customers own words ( customers language ) in our ad

I work in Poland and I only operate on the domestic market. Currently I only see a suggestion to generate alternative text but it doesn't work in my language (it only works in English). I don't have the option to generate an image but I hope to get it soon!

Interesting update Dara. To me, this just proves that in the future, creating original, well-thought-creative will be even more important

I think this move by Meta to integrate AI is Incredible! AI is already leading to more generic ad copy, ad creative & marketing angles in the market - which means original and unique marketing angles are killing it! Bring on more lazy companies and marketers!

Like what? I see her answering questions on basically every video, short, etc. And if there’s a question that’s in depth she comments “video to come soon” or “great suggestion I’ll make a video soon”. What do you want her to answer that she’s not answering, and how specific are your questions because maybe what you’re looking for is her course that probably is more detailed with more 1 on 1 support. Maybe you’ve had a simple question for awhile now and have asked many times with no reply, and then I am sorry. But if not this content is free and honestly a full just Q&A video sounds boring to me 😂

With generative ai, I think there are still some unanswered questions from a legal standpoint. If we use Meta's gen ai, are our brands protected from any lawsuits or copyright claims that come up? Like, is Meta going to take responsibility if/when a bunch of stock background photographers decide that their work was unfairly used and start looking for damages?

I hope it's better than the current AI text generator because it often creates terrible copy.

Oh god here we go. Just press one button and Meta will generate your ad, tell you where to put it, give you an analytic, and take the money from your credit card. Why bother, why not just grow tomatoes or take up welding? I'm starting to get bored with Ai already and its only May 2024. Thanks Dara, important news for some but not this luddite. Perhaps the definition of the word Creative should be reassessed.

I empathize A LOT with this comment. Historically, I’ve been slow to adopt AI in my creative process and even slower to make videos about it. I do think this update is great news for small businesses or any brands that need more creative resources. All in all, this should allow us to be more creative and not spend time tinkering with minimal effort ad creatives and low lift messaging testing. I’m hopeful, but I think a healthy dose of skepticism and an editing eye when using AI is probably the right call.

You nailed it. And the reality is, you have to spend money to even know if the creatives are performing, so really, it’s just a way for people to spend faster on meta, with probably minimal change to successful businesses who already analytically and intuitively have creatives dialled in. I think a skilled human would outperform on creatives every time, especially once all ads look the same thanks to ai.

Meta ai is false. I just asked for help on hacked fb and they sent me to some lady at home who had kids in back ground and said she has nothing to with fb. I took screenshots and recorded 😊
