Just a quick question. Do you ever use the buffer polisher with sandpaper for the sanding step?

Absolutely not it's way too fast you definitely burn your headlights up and other things... Not the right type of motion for standing on headlights... 2 fast you need more of a grinding motion hence why I used two different ones a polisher and a drill.... I’ve been using the chemical Guys headlight restorer that you suggested a while ago and I really like it. It advertises that it has UV protection from further yellowing, do you think it really does ? My thoughts are between it and the meguiars headlight spray I should get maybe 2 years out of the headlights I do. What are your thoughts ?

I warranty the quality of my work.... headlights are always going to go bad no matter what ..if something goes wrong within reason if it is a product or installation issue... Which doesn't happen almost ever because I'm one of the best at doing this... How has it grown my skill has been at the top of the top for a long time now best of the best because I always grow test experiment and practice on all elements of other restoration strive for and settle for nothing but perfection... I don't use cheap materials I use the best I spend no cost to use what is the best that's part of being the best... You can't be the best and you shitty materials.. the best of anything we use the best materials... So many people are still trying to cut corners and don't realize you're making your product and weaker and shittier and not be as good because you're doing that step one let alone a lot of other shit...

my 370z lights are even worse - you have all those angles - and the genius's at Nissan decided to create an oval like dome/convex shape near the turn signal... Going to redo mine using you suggested products and techniques! Also gutting the moronic stock projector and replacing with a much better morimoto d2s 5.0 and going to blackout the stupid chrome. Doing the retro first, then restore as they get to go in the oven during the process...

Hi , when i use the 600rpm drill to polish the headlight do i use more force and more time to polish it ?

Never more Force.. that's not adequate for polishing.. you're not going to achieve the same..

Have you ever used something like a heat gun to help the spray cure faster?

Yes and I don't approve of it ...it messes up things...air drying is the best & forced air drying...

it takes a minute for the spray to cure why on earth would you need a heat gun?

Unnecessary....this is a ,3m 3000 trizact.....it does the work of all of those grits... You see the finished product...( Over 100 videos up on this page..) I use to buy then through experimentation I found these to be useless if you control your pressure...

I warranty my work...not a time frame... headlight Restoration is not permanent or for a lifetime no matter what people who have zero knowledge of headlight restoration and or headlights say... They are liars, scammers,& or uneducated... Literally every car has a different threshold of lasting...I explain things to people and just tell them a range that it should look perfect... Which is always over a year or so... But it is heavily dependent on them and how they take care of the vehicle.. There's literally too many variables to really give a strict time warranty with any headlight restoration method...cars sitting non-op, nasty maintenance, excessive traveling, chronic automatic carwashes,etc... And even headlight structure and make like i said in this video.. I laughed at the headache and free future work these idiots give away because they lie and/or are uneducated enough to five ,5 year , lifetime warranty and other bullshit..🤣🤣🤣 Not 2k clear not nothing will last that long and it would destroy the headlight if it did ..💯🤓

@RCCustoms73 one of the biggest parts of my business is just being transparent and honest I'm not trying to fool anybody into anything because that shit comes and bites you in the ass extra hard..... I try to run my life, business and everything else ,on Old School values: respect, honesty, treating people as you'd want to be treated, and good old-fashioned hard work... If you honestly run your life or business that way you're going to prosper and nobody's going to have a problem with it,in fact they're going to love it...💯

It's extremely irrelevant to know what I charge... It's more relevant to know what people charge in your area.. prices of services like this change from City to city state to state... The best way is to Google I guess or to look around your area..

he charges $85-$135 based on his website SAC MOBILE HEADLIGHT RESTORATION.

How do you go up against competition that offers things like 5 year warranties though? If I was an average customer and I saw a dude offering 5 years and another with no warranty, I would pick the 5 year guy.

Not if you were smart.... Ones is an obvious lie... And one's work looks nowhere near as good as mine.... No headlight restoration Will last 5 years and if you explain the signs behind it to them and how this is a lie they'll understand real easy people recognize the truth and when you give them facts for them to verify look up they see that you're correct....💯 I warranty my work... The guy offering five year warranty on headlight restoration is going to be out of business really soon cuz he's not going to keep up with the flood of people that want their money back or their headlights done again in 2 years... People would rather have the truth than a lie.... And hand in hand have those guys who try to say that have zero reviews bad reviews or obviously fake reviews...lol That's for a reason... And then you explain to the customer on top of all the other shit and knowledge that you know that the person is putting on their headlights something that's not designed for headlights that will destroy your headlights in the long run well before it hits 5 years.... And then they usually call and ask what do you put on the headlights and they say 2K clear and then they ask as a design for headlights and then they start fumbling the ball around it's not designed for headlights it doesn't last that long and will destroy your headlights in less than 3 years..... I've even had customers go with the other guy who said 5 year warranty call me out the same day he went with the other guy because he checked what the guy was going to put on his headlights and told him he's not interested in the service cuz it was in fact what I told him it was...... They don't make this substance for headlights and if you come back up what you're saying with the knowledge and explain to them why you wouldn't never want something on your headlights The last 5 years because your headlights start getting damaged underneath it and that it's never clear product and you have all the knowledge of size behind it believe me they know what they want for their vehicle.. People are very very uneducated doing headlight restoration and don't know what they're doing... When you're telling the truth and you know your facts it's easy to outshine the competition... 💯

@razzor8970 Google 2k for headlights and tell me how many you see come up virtually none.. this one will come up but in my professional opinion it's very fraudulent it's the same exact 2K as the other one just a little tweak the main bad part is still there which is the hardener...
