After 2012, it went all downwards with all the same turbo engines pushing way over the limits, AWD and full gadgets and electronic drive by wire stuff replacing hydraulics and taking away character and feeling.

Especially the AMG with a fucking 6.2 in a C class. Madness back then. The rivals M3 and RS4 have V8's aswell but different way. You could also have manual gearbox. What a time indeed. In F1 I know the V10 is greatest but the Ferrari V12...........

This car even in its stock form, sounds really insane. European V8s are normally high revving but this had a grunt and a roar like an American muscle car. And in stock form it is way subtle compared to modern AMGs

​@diznutz5110 I have one too. Thinking of replacing the head bolts as a preventative measure and while doing it add the factory mechanical diff, supercharger and stage 2 tune. Prolly cost $10k total and mean the car is a supercargo killer for another 20 years

One of the best merc of all time, this will be probaply, the last real c63 for me

1st. - I haven't seen all the vids, but I've seen a couple where the horses are mentioned and I love that he doesn't go there so he doesn't disturb them 2nd. - I love that he drove so many cars, Ferraris, Porsches, Maseratis, whatever, but he's so thrilled about the sound of this car and he's so happy driving it, you can feel his excitement - I love it!

@@seanpang1119 I’m moving back to the US soon so I’ll be getting a US spec BS. The Euro BS is a lot more expensive because it’s more track ready with carbon roof, bucket seats, roll cage, etc whereas the US versions lack a lot of those features.

Back when the C63 was a proper AMG, the 2015 one is also still nice imo but the new one is a disgrace with the 4-cyl

And they'd have us believe that the new c63 is a true AMG that will give us just as many thrills... with a 4-cylinder 😂

@@erenhidiroglu7889 Who cares if its 0.5 or 1s faster with fully loaded batteries? It still weights 2100 kg, and you have to handle this weight with empty batteries. It will never drive in the the corners as good as old one (500kg lighter).

This is such an iconic model. Mercedes did a great job. The car gives a lot of smiles per miles. The sound is pure heaven, could never get enough of that v8 amg rumble. And those seats are soo perfect really 10/10. Thanks for sharing it with us👍

the education of a people makes a lot of difference. here in Brazil no one would mind making noise if there were people around. Mind if the horses are around then? Never! Here many people buy compact pick ups and fill them with speakers and walk around the city at dawn with the loudest sound possible. unfortunately it is very common. no police care. Congratulations on being considerate of the surrounding environment! one of my favorite channels on all youtube!| Big hug from Brazil!

I've noticed that Brazilian people love LOUD music. It's on a different scale than what some others do (like in America with big subwoofers)... The bass is powerful, but it isn't ear piercing.

Makes me so proud to own one, just makes me want to go out and drive it after watching this 😆

Both facelift and pre had 7 speed transmission. The facelift has a MCT the pre has a torque converter.

Just to let you know your incorrect about some of them gains. Just remap 500-530bhp max, anyone claiming more their tuner or dyno is wrong. Remap plus headers 540-560bhp, but these headers are MBH headers which are one of a very few full long tube headers, the rest are shortys. These headers are supposed to be the best on the market for quality and gains so the figures on this car could be true. Also the benefit of these headers is they keep the AMG tone if you leave the stock resonator and mufflers in.

Really rare to see a exhaust mod on the C63 that makes it sound better. This one is perfect, since it just cranks up the volume. The stock exhaust on these is just about perfect though, its honestly a waste of money to buy other exhausts for these...

Got myself a Magnetite Black Metallic (183U) 220 Coupe recently and i think that this era is on another level, W205 and 206 haven't the same appeal and true Mercedes style in my opinion, i mean, they're not bad looking C classes for sure but W204s have that special something that i cannot describe.

I have a pre-facelift C63 and I love the seats... the bolstering makes me keep both hands on the wheel. My wife hates the seats though... 😂 Also, I have just the resonator removed and it's a symphony to the ears!

Lovely cat. Best bang for buck you can get. I own a coupe version remapped and Supercharged. The noise is superb. A cult car and future classic that puts a smile on your face and every time you turn the key and go for a drive it is a event.
