Wow, Pharrell raised the bar for fashion shows. This dude did a show outside, on a bridge in the middle of town, with an orchestral and a hip-hop choir WOW!!!!! The music score is magical and the LV line is fresh and bold but yet classic and iconic. AMAZING

We love Pharrell because he represents humility inclusiveness and style

It’s not a collab he’s the official designer of LV, the way he brought the team was done 5 days ago by fendi as well and many other brands did the same longtime ago! Not new.. But PW did well as the first Collection with LV but still you can smell Chanel Style even men but he still influenced with chanel.

the conversation with Jerrod Carmichael literally brings me to tears. So does the ending of the show when Pharrell walks down the runway in all his glory and hugs his family. . This show really touches my heart and spirit like no other. Whenever I'm feeling down and out or doubtful, I always watch this show to remind me to believe in myself and that ANYTHING is possible.

Mad respect for Pharrell! Amazing show, this was a show, not just a fashion show. I am blown away by the fact that he gave credit to everyone who actually made the collection possible. Usually those people stay behind the scenes and no one knows about them and no one cares about them. Respect ❤

Is this satire? I've never hated a show more and I feel like it's so fake. LV is and never has been for everyone. For me, it seems like the show is made to look like LV is for everyone. They brought out a whole ass gospel to sign and had Pharrell giving praise to everyone and thanking them. The whole thing feels very fake.

What a spectacular night that was in Paris had by all who were able to attend. So thankful we have the ability to see fashion shows so quickly now on youtube.

This show…this show!!! From beginning to end the details with the two men in the beginning, from their sweaters to their shoes, to the design on the choir robes, the entire collection, the show, the team, his family…the entire vision was weaved through this show. I got right to my sewing machine after watching this!!!! Amazing!!

The older I get the less it takes to bring out an emotional response. PW’s humility amidst something so profound is something to be admired. I lost it when I realized his children got to see such an act. What a great moment. Excellent job!

The coats and bags alone have a life that will secure a place in fashion history. Incredible, unique collection!

Wow! Not even mentioning how great the designs have been put together, the idea of combining classical music, hip hop and contemporary gospel music into one FASHION show is just breathtakingly unbelievable. This and Gucci's "Gucci Cruise" are the only fashion shows I've watched without skipping a second of the duration. Amazing work, LV... Great work, Pharrell ❤

The story behind this collection really executed very well and with pride and dignity for the label and designers. Lighting, stage, music Pharell u killed it . Much respect.

​@@one6890 I'd argue its problematic for a few reasons: 1. LV puts forth another black designer which becomes a large part of the brand's image, so when you have a black person as the front and a bunch of white or non-black on the back-end it feels performative 2. Sure, you can make the argument that he just chooses team members that he finds the best at their job, but in reality what you're saying is that he couldn't find a single black pattern maker, seamstress, graphic designer that was better than their white counterpart? 3. A majority, if not all of the other roles that he actually gave to black people are merely temporary jobs. These roles are modeling and the choir singers, and some of them will probably work for LV again but these aren't secure, guaranteed positions of work. I would argue that the most valuable positions in this industry are being a part of the creative or management team. Also its not my only focus lol I loved some aspects of it, I can't wait for the clipse song to be released so i can bump that shit all weekend

"Do you admit to yourself how bad you want it? Because sometimes I make excuses... You know what they say? 'Actions speak louder than words' ". That opening was everything for me and I take it as a sign. I finally applied and was accepted to graduate program in fashion design in Paris and I'm moving to Paris in the fall! Pharrell continues to always inspire and motivate me throughout my life. Beautiful collection and I need this choir song on my playlist like NOOOOWWW!! Bravo!! I knew he was designing for LV, but this is genius!! The runway designed like a Boulevard, the orchestra then transitioning to hip-hop, a little rock, then gospel!! Pharrell brings a edgy, modern, colorful look and feel to this iconic fashion house. He's like a breath of fresh air! The Spring-Summer Show was GRAND! It all came together magically. They transformed the Pont Neuf Bridge in Paris into a fantastic runway, beautifully orchestrated adorned with lights, music and vitality. Pharrell is a master! VERY WELL DONE!

Only a genius could have created this…LV and Pharrell match made in heaven 😊

Same!!! I appreciated Virgil but I think I am too laymen for his vision. Pharrell really grounded the brand in the working creative (the luggage cart, I’ve never seen on a runway), but still with aspirations of dreams come true. The music… the MUSIC. yeah 🥲 i have been in a rut the past few months about my career….the FIRST word that came outta my mouth at the very end was “inspired…” 🥹 him choosing to have a choir praise GOD during a fashion show was a STATEMENT & i am THANKFUL as a Christian pharrell made that choice. & when the beat broke & the whole lineup of models walked out to “joy?!!” maaaaan!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 it was like “we are ALL here spreading The Gospel Truth” in some way- altho they arent lol hard to explain & seeing pharrell cry- point to the sky to signal “this is all because of God” ☝🏽🙌🏽 & go hug his family - & the joy on the design team’s face really moved me….i just wish pharrell said God & Jesus instead of “universe” during interviews ☹️ gonna pray for increased boldness in the faith!! 👏🏽👏🏽

This fashion show is too good, both the collection and the development of the models look very genuine, the music is incredible, simply impressive

It references so much of LV's past while standing distinctively in today. I was skeptical but proven wrong. WELL DONE.

This was so much more than a Fashion Show, this was ART on every level. I'm inspired and FULL...the humility of him bringing out his design team (which I don't believe has ever been done before) the creativity of the line and the musical genius of having "JOY" be the official song just sums up the emotion that was evoked. Loved how he stayed true to himself entirely. Looking forward to seeing what's next.

Who else cried while watching this? I was getting jaded about luxury fashion, but this show gives me hope. Bravo Pharrell! JOY! JOY! JOY!

The musical score, setting, models, style is inseine!!!!!!!

One of the best creators of our time, but hands down THE most appreciative and collaborative creative mind of our time. The way he not only acknowledges, but bows to his creative team. This man will be around for the rest of our lives in fashion.

It feels modern, fresh, vibrant, magnetic yet an instant classic. Bravo to Pharell and the entire design team!

It feels mainstream (military/war is the current global trend), dull, tacky (large LV Damier pattern on suits and jackets), gay (men wearing skirts and Japanese-schoolgirl shoes and socks) etc.

I am wowed. When the models all came back, it almost felt as if it could well be the streets of new york or any metro city. The models themselves were as diverse as the clothes they were wearing. Different flavors to suit all tastes and aesthetics. And don't get me started on the background music. From orchestra to rap to choir, the music and indeed the whole show was phenomenal 👏

First 30sec and i'm in complete aw! Dreaming of a walk down the runway! Been walking for years....away from anything and everything that doesn't feed my soul!!!!!!!! Pharrell's first show was something that I didn't know I needed. Loved it, COUNT IT ALL JOY!

When the gospel choir enters to the show ...there is totally a transformation. I wasn't expecting this. Incredible, really. Who else did this? Who else did a fashion show with a gospel choir and an orchestra? Beautiful, beautiful choir, and the lady who was singing is a powerhouse

this brought tears to me eye, this is an icarnation of the power of the creator, all of the arts combined architecture, music, cinema, scenery, everything. It's so universal and yet it still captures his individual uniqueness. he's a true designer he's the example of human potential, the way he pointed at the sky at the end says it all.

The fashion show looked very realistic like everyday life on the streets. The versatility and inclusivity as well as expressions came together to make the outfits more relatable. 🔥

It’s not relatable to me. If someone walked down the street wearing these clothes where I live- they would get laughed at, or someone might assume they are mentally Ill.

@@taystee91 Tay you got me all wrong. I don’t go to Walmart. I work 70 hours per week, and went to college for 6 years- so I am fortunate enough to shop at Publix. You are probably from New York or something so I’ll put it in a way you will understand- in Florida- Publix is like the Louis Vuitton of grocery stores. My groceries are bagged with extreme care and attention, and they are even put away in the trunk of my crossover for me. They don’t do self checkout there.🤣They also have a large selection of exotic cheeses, and gourmet sodas. None of which I have ever tried- but I like the idea having 97 different varieties of bleu cheese offered to me.

WOW! That was a wonderfully uplifting experience, not just a mere fashion show.

Never get tired of watching this always brings me Joy. Can't wait for the next one.

I absolutely loved everything about this show. The collection is very nice. The choir and the orchestra were amazing. I have always loved him for his music, this made me love him even more. Stepping up after Virgil was not going to be an easy task, but “HE DID THAT” ❤❤❤

Oh man. this was incredible. The whole thing grew and grew into an overwhelming and emotional celebration of life and the connection that lives between us all. We can do so much when we work together. I deeply appreciate and respect Pharrell for acknowledging his counterparts, as it only annunciates what an artist and creative he truly is- to give credit where credit is due. The choir and soloist were INCREDIBLE!

The reason I love this is because every color and type of human being is involved in this show and everybody looks happy, the world should run like this!🗺

Whoa...what a debut. If LV & PW play their cards right, they can capitalise on their live shows same as Victoria Secrets, Fenty, etc. I'm already looking forward to the next show because this one was outstanding 🎉🎉🎉

I don't usually take time to write public comments but PW's ingenuity is worth to congratulate him and his team. His humility and gratitude for the team that worked hard with him and giving them the recognition they deserve warms the heart. I'm not fan of supporting LV products though I own one so I have something to use when the occasion calls for it, this made me love the products now. Very excellently done PW! God's blessings to you and your family.

GREAT show Pharrell I am so proud of what you have accomplished in music and now fashion! I like the designs with the accessories just cool, comfortable and classy! You, your wife and twins and look so nice matching you in the same outfit! Louis Vuitton is a great collection!!!! The gospel choir were AMAZING just filled joy and great spirits❤
