@@genjorgen5413 Yeah sure. Virgil Abloh was the founder of Off-White and head designer of the LV menswear collection. Unfortunately he past away from cancer last November. He was one of the major designers in the world and was still on the rise. Did lots of collaborations with ikea and nike for instants. He meant a lot for especially the black community. He might have past but a lot of people will never forget him, that’s why Kendrick replaced some of the lyrics and a lot of comments say “long live Virgil” and “Virgil forever”. If you are interested there are some videos that can explain his impact better than me.

Kendrick is a once in a life time artist, what a performance. Everything about this is inspiring and makes me proud to be black.

This stage set-up is something I've never seen before or even thought it would work. Kendrick and the band were also amazing.

First fashion show I’ve ever watched & I really only watched bc I wanted to see Kendrick but this work of art was beautiful 👌🏽

Brilliance all the way around. This is art at it highest form. FAMU killed it as usual, Kendrick is a genius and master of ceremony, the clothing was nothing less than amazing. Louis Vuitton, visually the set and atmosphere was gorgeous.

Can't believe I witnessed Sun Ra opening with direction and spaceship landing/tribute in a Louis Vuitton show followed by Kendrick like.. the astro black excellence radiating from this my heart cannot?? 😭 🌌 🪐

I get goosebumps every time I re-watch the opening - combination of 'Saviour' and the models!!!

Performances like this bring me even closer to his latest album. I’m still grasping it after at least 5-7 listens. It’s a vibe/multiple vibes honestly, but another work of masterful art.

My 2nd favorite Kendrick album (only TPAB) is above imo like hearing him be so transparent and honest just hit home and I could relate so so much. First listen it was weird but things like Crown and even Mother I Sober had me on the verge of tears.Ending with Mirror was just perfect aswell.

The beginning literally gave me chills. The best fashion show I've ever seen. You have to put some respect on FAMU and kendricks name.....

THIS WAS BEYONND AMAZING, WHY DID I GET CHILLS, THEN STARTED CRYING THEN SMILING & LAUGHING AT MYSELF?! S/O 2 THE HUNNID, KENDRICK, THE MODELS!! THIS ENTIRE JAWN WAS A VIBE!

Really extraordinary show: the tribute to Virgil, his legacy, the music, FAMU, the set design, Kendrick, the clothes, the energy, the filmed opening sequence referencing 70s afro-futurism, everything gelled perfectly.... really beautiful! Virgil would have been proud!

Diversity, inclusion, freedom of expression, creativity, unity, and inspiring. I loved it.

I watch this Spring '23 Men's Collection with tears in my eyes. The collection Flordia A&M Marching HBCU, Virgil, was so much to unpack. Giving agency to African American culture, fashion, and music and honoring our collective contribution and how we African Americans have given so much to this planet we inhabit. That was shown through LV Menswear Collection. Kendrick Lamar is BRILLANT!!! BRAVO!!!!! LOVED IT!!!!

Everyone showed up and showed out, Fashion, Kendrik, and FAMU job well done!

This was nothing less than Black American Tradition on full display. From the Mother Ship to the FAMU band, it was pure beauty and style. Seeing the juxtaposition of Empire wealth and two distinctly Black artforms, which emerged through EMPIRical oppression; it really struck me the levels of thought put into this artistic production. Kendrick Lamar stayed true to his function as the conscience of the event. Seems like that last song was a pure critique of that current moment. #N95

Absolutely amazing. Everyone who worked on this did a great job! Beautiful outfits, BEAUTIFUL models! The BAND was soooo so good!!! And KENDRICK was fantastic!!!!

First time I watched a full fashion show LV, and I'm not the only one so keep it up with the same vibe that Virgil had for your house RIP Virgil A.

Some details were truly amazing. LV has mastered to be classy and being modern and I really liked the detail where the LV logo was on the balloons near the set. As a sign, they used balloons.

This was the most diverse fashion show I've ever seen clips of and it was inspiring. Very inspirational. It just gave it so much flavor.

Never again will the standard of a fashion show be scary looking cracked out models and top 100 music playing. Virgil tuned fashion and expression into an experience you can feel in your spirit because it blends, fashion, art, architecture, color and musical vibrations into one. We love you Virgil forever!! it's fucked, but the first thing i thought watching this was man, reptilian LVMH is going to milk the proximity to the black community that Virgil brought to the absolute fullest extent.

LV, your marketing team is doing something right. Let them COOK, and serve us a FEAST.

Great show!!!!!! Models, crew members, designers, Kendrick, camera/film crew, etc. All did an excellent job! And big ups to my HBCUs! FAMU represented!

That Florida A&M just blew it out of the water! I'm telling you, just all that performance grabbed me in a place I didn't expect, and it inspired me. The fashions incredible, the designs were devil may care, I'm going to wear what makes me look and feel good. Thus, I'm left feeling good.
