I love David brown's guide. he keeps David hyped and he doesn't take away David's shine. He makes sure that he makes it all about David. That's a blessing.

Amazing how the guides dedicate themselves to make the blind athletes shine.
Love how he puts his hands up in victory then quickly points to David
Saw the short of this, had to come see the full race. Incredible. I love that at the end the guide slows down for the last meter of the race, so that David would cross the finish line first. Need more moments like this shared on social media

Same! Humans are incredible. I couldn't imagine what it must be like to be a guide too. So much hard work to be so selfless and promote another man's dream, and you can see it's more than that, not only does he want him to win, but you can see he wants other people to appreciate the athlete he's guiding and his greatness. So cool
The guides ❤️ this warms my soul

I'm seeing a lot of hype for Jerome Avery - which he absolutely deserves, he did an amazing job - but David Brown did an equally fantastic job and this is his event. As a visually impaired person who's getting into running, I can imagine the amount of dedication, hard work, and training David Brown must have put in is staggering and shouldn't be minimized as simply "inspiring." Guy is incredible and they're a fantastic team

You're right, UT takes a lot more from David to trust that he can run his best race and not see the track... a whole lot of faith and discipline.
Congratulations all athletes
David's guide slowed down at the last minute to ensure he crossed the line first. That is a beautiful human being 😭

Nah fr this some wholesome content. No matter the disability their drive to compete hits me right in the feels. That’s what life is all about, overcoming those setbacks no matter what and making the most out of opportunities presented before you. Love to see it.

That was amazing! I had never seen it. They need a lot of coordination which means tons of training. Yet they manage 11 or so seconds which is a great time under those conditions. I can bet that in time they will manage to lower it to 10s mark. Kudos to them and the Olympic committee for putting this together
This is the wholesome content we love to see
Wow !! What an inspirational view, no sight but run for glory, the guide runner just push themselves to make glory for athletes. 💜
Congrats to all this guy's and thier guides the love is real I love it with all my heart
It's amazing that these runners are practically blind. Heard another paralympian explain the grades. T11 is legally blind, T12 is a bit better up to T14 which has only 10-15% vision I think! Insane
This is ABSOLUTELY amazing! All you need to know about life is showcased right there.
Not me crying over this 😭.. What a sport. I can't believe I'm only now seeing this! Amazing!

Nunca había visto estas carreras paralímpicas, mi pregunta es si para correr tienen que ser ciegos? Una persona que le falte una mano o dos, pero tenga buena vista, no puede correr con ellos?
