Meme and I definitely have one thing in common..... The love of buttah 😍😁 Meme found her way into my KZread feed I do believe by the grace of God. My grandparents raised me. Sadly, I've lost them both. My ma was my best friend, my hero and life force. She was a tiny southern Cherokee spitfire. 😍 Her birthday was July 8th, she passed two years ago the end of June. Just shy of her 95th birthday. I was having a really rough week. Many things happening in my life. I was laying on my couch watching videos and her comes meme. It helps my broken heart to watch your videos. I told my sister it's like getting my grandma fix 😂 Thank you and bless you 🙏😍

Meme, I just wanted to tell you my daughter and I made this for supper last night. Well, I've gotta tell you, your recipes are four for four at our house! We absolutely loved it! As I said, we've made four of your recipes so far and have loved them all. Our cooking styles are so much alike that I don't believe that we'll go wrong using any of your recipes lol. I'm so glad!

When I was a kid, you could buy a whole chicken in a can. This was a full chicken in the broth and we used those up, let me tell you! By the way, kudos to your sister on that casserole dish from the thrift store. I love to shop garage sales and thrift stores first and I have all of my Pyrex collection from them!

When I was first married, I brought a canned whole chicken with us on our boat when we sailed to Mexico. We ended up trading a fisherman that can of chicken for a couple of lobsters since they were tired of eating seafood… the lobster was delicious, hope he liked the chicken…

Nothing wrong with some canned chicken. I am gonna make this recipe! One thing I love about your recipes is you don't over salt your food. You're a joy to watch and I love your no nonsense way. This reminds me of my mom’s first dinner party with my dad’s boss during WWII. My mom was just married. She put the noodles in the casserole dish and put grated cheese on top. She just didn’t cook the noodles first. Crunchy! 😂😂😂

This was wonderful!! Next time I will combine everything (except the topping) rather than layer. The noodles were a little dry. I topped with potato chips because that's what I had. Everyone loved this!!

Frank, what are you talking about. She explained why she wouldn’t be showing the finished casserole! There’s nothing wrong with her, maybe it’s you!!!!

I made this recipe the way it is shown here then tried it my way. I did not layer it. I cooked the noodles then partially drained them leaving enough water in them to dissolve my chicken bullion powder for the chicken broth and mixed all but the cracker toppings in the same pot I boiled the noodles in and mixed it and then put it in the 9x13 inch pan. After that I put the cracker topping on my casserole. It turned out better this way.

I make a chicken casserole similar to this. Instead of noodles I put broccoli on the bottom, then shredded chicken, thinly sliced celery , bell pepper and chopped onions. I mix 1 can cream of mushroom and I can cream of chicken mushroom with a little milk. Spread over top, then cover with cheddar jack cheese. It’s delicious!!!

2 questions, what would you do with the leftover 1/2 cans of soup & is recycling not a thing where you live? I see you dispose of lots of containers. Not a criticism just a question.

Yes you can, but sometimes the noodles get a little soggy.

That was a 12 oz. package of noodles so should it be 12 or 16 oz?

I was worried there for a few minutes that there was no stick of butter involved in this cardiologist’s dream of a meal.

I was opening my cheese once, and I pulled so hard, I took that zipper clean off the bag on one side 😂🤣😂I had to close it with a clothespin!

I would make homemade utterly croutons

Take the top rack out or make it the lowest rack so you don't burn yourself putting dishes in under it

You should not use pre shredded cheese as an ingredient is added to stop clumping which restricts good melting

Cellulose is what is used to prevent pre-shredded cheese from clumping. It typically does somewhat retard the melting process but not enough to prohibit its use, especially at high (cooking) temperatures.
