I used to make this years ago, but my recipe called for cooked ground beef after the cabbage and onions and the mushroom soup and mayonnaise on top of that. A complete meal! Sooo good! Thanks for the reminder! ❤️ I have always used the bottom rack, too!

Hello there, Meme! ❤ I always cook on the bottom rack, especially casseroles and I do have my reasons. 😂 I cook on the bottom rack to ensure the ingredients on the bottom of the dish cook well (closest to the heat) while also keeping the top farther away from the top burner so the topping does not burn or get too dry and crunchy while the inside gets done. My first time viewing and i have to say I'm loving it. Ive been making the cabbage casserole for a while now. The only thing i do different is i add smoked kielbasa in it. I cook on my middle rack because in my oven things would burn on the bottom. As you often say, everyone's oven is a little different. Practice makes perfect and experience helps too :) This cabbage casserole looks wonderful.
