This is a great song, probably their first but around 30-40 best in their extensive catalog. Ridiculously unknown and underrated.

Saw them live in Bremen, Germany in 1984 i think. If you ever react to "The greatest Show on Earth" from Nightwish, Big Country is the reason why i prefer the Wimbledon version, because Troy plays e-bow there. Oh and to understand that you should first check out "The Storm" from Big Country. Also .. R.I.P. Stuart Adamson, he died way too early 😭😭

I was at this gig right at the front, at the start of the gig Stuart picks up a scarf that was my Tranmere Rovers scarf I threw on stage !

Love Harvest HOme. The lyrics ring more true with every passing year.

Great debut album, especially the song Big Country; no skip song. I had high expectations, but the band didn't develop their musical style any further, apart from a few pop singles. Then came the drama with S.A. . The band will be on the road again in the UK from February 2024 and are a great band live, worth hearing and seeing at any time.

I saw them again a month ago. I was worried cos Stuart was my hero has a kid. But it was still a decent gig. However original Big Country gigs were unbelievable. The greatest live experience ever. Imo
