Wow I got so much else from this. I would have said 1.) Would have definitely been THAT EVERYONE NEEDS THERAPY. I think you missed somethings lol. 2.) Please take medicine. I literally don't know how I lived through HS without them. I would have cruised instead of being a horrible awfully anxiety ridden kid.... my dad refused to let me take them. The stigma around mental health is disgusting.

Not all parents spend their energy in believing in their kids and making their dreams come true! Also, from what she is saying, her parents are very open to learning and breaking the cycle as well. Many parents would shut off and make their kids feel like the bad person for even suggesting that they are wrong and need help!

She will always be one of my favorite artists based on her talent. But her spirit/personality is what makes her one of my favorite humans. This new chapter after having Riley has been so fun to watch. I'm so happy this album is doing so well. I LOVE ALMOST EVERY SONG! She looks incredible and healthy/happy in who she is... thats what I wish for all with any mental health issues. Trust me, my families one big narc-fest so I definitely am proud of her for breaking her generational trauma.

Amazing one. What I loved was when he said how her doc explained... you can be on an inhaler for asthma but not take meds for ur mind ( anxiety). I'm a psychologist and this is one of my biggest pet peeves. Will anyone not take meds for hypertension, diabetes or heart ailments? So why the stigma and taboo towards meds for mental health issues, when they will only improve the day to day quality of life for you!!!! I love how REAL she is and says everything so genuinely and honestly.

I talk about recovery on my channel & even though it's mostly around sobriety, my main focus at the moment is learning how to stop living in constant fight or flight and sharing my journey with others. After a lifetime of stress & anxiety I know it's going to take some time to re-wire but the more of us talking about and sharing stories - the better! So THANK YOU both for a fab episode, it's going to help lots of fellow humans 🧡🧡

What a treat to see two of my favorite people have a deep conversation. I learned a lot. As the super feeler in my relationship, I am also workin on explaining my emotions to my partner. And my partner is a fixer (at least he thinks he can always fix it), and he always interrupts with solutions. Even today , when I was worried about my eye surgery, I had to remind him that I just needed to talk about my fears and emotions first. Then we can come up with solutions.

Panic attacks are frightening, when you don’t have access to help bc of finances. Meghan, you’re blessed to have had a family supporting you, $$, and your parents still alive. After my mother passed, my dad passed, then my fiancé passed after I spent a month in ICU praying for him & watching life leave his shell. Panic attacks became frequent and intense. Please be aware you’re tremendously blessed not having a true deep loss to panic about. Consider spending time listening to profound loss stories with abuse and you’ll feel the Holy Spirit as you’ll know you’re truly blessed not panicked. God bless you for sharing. Hope i didn’t offend you. I’m almost positive my opinion will be invisible. That’s how I feel. Invisible 😢

I don’t know a whole lot about Meghan - she came across really well as a judge on The Voice UK, I only know a few of her songs - All about that base, Future husband and, the one with John Legend I’m gonna love you, like I’m gonna lose you, and those are it. But she seems like a lovely person; really down to earth, authentic and self aware. This was really enlightening to watch.

I also remember feeling like no one understood how scary my first big panic attack was and the fear of not knowing what was going on. I'm also so glad she is open about feeling dumb for not knowing how to do "Basic adult things". I totally relate 😅 😂

Loved this interview! But we gotta talk about why we're creating this narrative that sugar is essentially the worst thing, obviously you shouldn't consume a lot of it but it's completely normal to have a sweet treat here and there, don't completely deprive yourself of sugary things because it's literally normal but try to limit it. Also Meghan girl... listen to Daryl's feelings, if Riley grows up seeing you act negative to Daryl being emotional it's gonna have a negative effect which is what we're trying to change in this era!

Meghan talking about her panic attacks, I felt so hard. I have a diagnosed panic disorder and have been having seemingly random panic attacks since I was probably 2. I have learned to control them and prevent them for about 10 years now I'd say. But every so often I will get one and it does literally feel like you're dying. I had a really bad 1 the day after an emergency surgery, and I thought I was gonna die in that hospital bed. My whole body went numb and tingly, I felt like someone had crushed my ribs and I couldn't breathe. It was some scary ish! I love how open and honest she is about her mental health. Just makes her that much more lovable and relatable.

It can literally happen to anyone for any reason. I also did not take any medication during my pregnancy except for prenatals, and my daughter almost had to be a C-section baby because her blood pressure and oxygen levels kept dropping because I was having a panic attack so just do what feels right and don’t let ppl make you feel bad

Sorry, but this is not the first time that I read a heading of #JayShettyPodcast that says ( in the example ) ' If you struggle with low self-worth & confidence WATCH THIS! ' I fall for it and get disappointed. Now, most of these interviews are fantastic and very interesting- and yes, the guests talk about their personal issues, but aside from a few nuggets of good info the HOUR goes by without much input. Honestly, the vast majority of these interviews are NOT what the title says. There is usually only 20% - 25% of the title in the actual video ( and it usually happens in the last 10 to 5 minutes ). Aside from a handful of your videos I found this to be the case. Sorry, I am just being honest.

With all due respect, there's a lot I can't relate to, understand nor agree with what this young woman said, as with many of your guests, but the whole point I invest my time in watching, listening and thinking on these episodes is because I feel it is important to get more insight into how others live. For example where she blatantly said people do drugs because there are no malls was quite irritating for me. I grew up in the worst of circumstances as an unpaid, troubled carer, then became estranged and then my parent died,I live alone in poverty, I've never turned to drugs/smoking and let's be honest what's stopping me from venturing into such paths as a late 20s female adult? I have multiple health issues, I'm an ethnic minority, I have various disadvantages, I am not happy, Iam unemployed, I have no quality of life and I one of the worst things is that despite all of my efforts I am still in poverty and isolation, I don't even have a license or car, I don't even have one friend. Yet through all of this I practise immense gratitude and other positive practices. I am sick of living in a world where kids and adults who don't really have it that hard get more help and get pity parties and get away with too much, whilst real victims ie myself - but look Jay and friends, this is not harsh criticism this is just my feedback!

That Vitamin D thing is point on! My levels were so low I had doctors tell me they had never seen them that low in their careers. I was depressed, my sleep schedule was -awful- I would stay up for days, sleep a few hours and do it all over again.
