This CD has three separate relaxation/meditation sessions on it kzread.infoUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq guided by a very pleasant and direct male voice. Unlike so many other products of its type, this CD does not have bad synthesizer music, does not feature a phony or affected style of narration, and does not make any bogus claims to be subliminal or to re-train the brain or any of that balderdash. What you get is 1. a guided meditation for getting into a pleasantly relaxed state of body awareness while taking a stroll (superb for those easing back into a fitness routine slowly after an illness or injury) 2. A nice long breath-awareness relaxation session that if followed diligently can put you into very deep states of full-body relaxation and mental calmness, and 3. a buddhist-inspired meditation session designed to help you develop and maintain feelings of loving kindness toward not just yourself and your friends, but toward people you don't even like. The CD makes no claims to be designed for advanced meditators or for buddhists or hindus/yoga practitioners looking for very deep and esoteric stuff. It is geared more toward the average person who just wants to develop the habit of relaxation and stress relief through natural, healthy means. him, if you happen to be reading this, keep up the good work fella, and I love your accent. I would also like to note that I have never fallen asleep while listening to this product. I would like to kindly suggest to the reviewer who said this CD makes him fall asleep, that he might want to get checked to see if he has a sleep disorder, or if he is simply not setting aside ample time for restful sleep at night. A healthy person getting adequate rest at night should be able to go into deep states of mental relaxation without dozing off, if not all the time, then most of the time.

It's weird because when the discussion talks about shedding a character, I immediately thought of soldiers who have experienced PTSD and using her method of shedding a character in order to help soldiers with their struggle with PTSD... or immediately after they are discharged from a military engagement. They basically "Step into the soldiers role" while in combat and have to "Step into the civilian role" when they are off duty. One of the problems have been that they are not taught how to deal with the duality of those roles and how to come out of that fight or flight role in civil society. I can imagine there is a certain amount of disconnect that would be necessary to do a job like that.

Luckily my first meeting with Cynthia Erivo was a live concert of Cynthia Erivo with Matthew Morrison and Haruma Miura (who has passed away in 2020) . I am fan of Haruma and it's a great experience to feel the power from Cynthia through her great performance. I can feel the energy from her little body and it's blown me away. Stand Up is the song to get me through the grief of Haruma's lost....

Finding this episode feels like a blessing... The way Cynthia so beautifully put-- speaking from a place of love can change the entire narrative of a conversation, as well as what the person takes away from it. There are so many amazing opportunities at your fingertips but actually taking the first step to do something that is totally meant for you to experience because it feels GOOD has been he toughest. So just doing the things that actually make me feel good is a huge perspective change on the imposter syndrome, Thank you for this! An absolutely beautiful piece.

Love simply means value, the value you create and provide for nature's need for value. And Fear is abscence of love/value/light.

This is beautiful I was driving to a job interview when listening to this and I just kept thinking that it’s about the little experiences and even if I don’t get the job it’s not something for me. I got to hear this podcast that I could’ve listen to him as I was driving for a while. And also my grandmother was British and she always use the phrase just start so that hit me so close to home.❤

She is absolutely brilliant in everything that I've ever seen her in. Her talents are so broad, nothing she can/will do would surprise me. She has a singing voice that is second to none. I love her talent and acting chops, she is definitely a "STAR" to watch, there's NOTHING she can't do and have you mesmerized. She's simply FANTASTIC!
