Meggan is an underrated and underappreciated character in the world of the X-Men. I truly hope we get to see something truly awesome from her soon in this new age of Krakoa

I hope she'll appear in MCU when they bring in the X-Men as a main character, or since they changed that Wanda and Pietro weren't mutants, they can do that again for Meggan.

"Jack-Jack" Parr from the Incredibles is actually more like a low-level reality alterer than just a simple shape changer who can alter his physical structure into any element. That kid is the most powerful and strongest super-human being in the Incredibles Universe. He has the potential to be god-like when he becomes an adult. He is pretty much basically exactly like Franklin Richards.

She looks like an interesting character. I don't know why she didn't appear in any X-Men cartoons.

She was not popular enough, so they felt that she wouldn't sell well.

I believe I've seen Meggan in comics , but I may have mistaken her for the Enchantress . As the two have a very strong resemblance , and any powers Meggan does would make me think the Enchantress is toying with Captain Britain.

It's the green and black costume. It's very similar in design. Personally, in my honest opinion, I liked her first costume better. It was a goldenrod-colored lycra/spandex skintight costume that looked way better than her green and black costume.

Yay! Meggan is my favorite so I'm so glad she's getting some coverage. I'm a strong proponent that Meggan is or has the potential to be an Omega level Mutant and though she seems mostly to be retired from active duty, but she should get an updated storyline. Also did Marvel just totally drop the Neuri as a thing? because there was a bigger story teased in that whole Rachel/Meggan arch about her origin...and probably the undercurrent mythology of things that take place more with Alpha Flight characters.

Meggan is the premier superhuman mutant super heroine from the U.K. in the Marvel Universe. She is one of the most powerful and strongest costumed, super-powered beings in Marvel Comics. She is very underrated just like her husband Captain Britain (Brian Braddock).

The thing about her is her power supply. Sis has to have a huge power output. She has cycled through two omega level mutants powers at full capacity while using 4 others. She has to be near omega or beyond with that level of power. Not even taking her plethora of other powers in consideration.

I loved her character.

So she's like a way better version of mystique?

I think that Meggan has the most powerful shape changing power in the Marvel Universe. Her shape changing power is so strong that she can supernaturally-empower, and enhance herself with magic energies from Great Britain itself in order to try to shape change into a duplicate of Galactus. But she couldn't successfully do it without destroying the Planet Earth in the process, so she stopped. But had it not been for that one side-effect, she could've actually turned into a magical equivalent of Galactus.

There's a few other shapeshifting mutants( such as Deadpools Ex Copycat ) but meggan is easily one of the most powerful!

Her single, straight-forward superhuman power is just shape changing. If she ever alters reality, it's because she duplicates that power from someone else who can also manipulate reality just as well, not just because it's some kind of innate superhuman power that she already has. Furthermore, she has a natural affinity to wield mystical forces, due to her part-fairy lineage, but not enough to the point where she is like a goddess or a wizard. Her power to absorb and manipulate magic energies is limited because she drains it directly from the Planet Earth itself. If she drains too much, she could damage the entire world in the process, so she holds back on purpose. Her superhuman power of flight is similar to Starfire from the Teen Titans in that she shape changes her hair into fire and then rockets herself through the air, propelling herself at supersonic speed. But it takes a toll on her, and she needs time to recuperate every now and then. Meggan is extremely powerful and strong when she has to be, but her power still only has a certain, limited extent. She isn't just some extremely dangerous, and deadly "she-devil" that has no special limitations, vulnerabilities or weaknesses.

Why no background or mention of her partial fairy parentage, and how that let her access magical abilities? Would be a perfect spotlight on Meggan if you included this. Thanks for highlighting her though!

She is definitely an Omega Level mutant with the most powerful partly-magical shape changing power in the world. She is able to mimic any other person, place and thing, and even duplicate the powers, abilities, weapons, and paraphernalia of any other person. No one, not Mystique or even the alien Skrulls can shape-shift like she can.

she also has an over abundance of minerals thus her long hair

Can you do one on the rest of the Braddocks? Especially Jamie, he doesn’t get much spotlight .

I think it would be great if MEGGAN could appear in the new Marvel cartoon shows, and most importantly appear in a new version of (X-MEN) cartoon show series.

I wish they would show more of her using her powers in the comics.

I also think MEGGAN should appear, in new (AVENGERS) cartoon show, along with appearing in, new (SPIDER-MAN) cartoon show, and in (FUTURE HEROES) cartoon show series. I imagine the (FUTURE HEROES) cartoon show, is about the future X-Men heroes, and the Future Avengers heroes. Plus to add is about the future (Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.) heroes team, and about the future (Agents Of S.W.O.R.D.) heroes team.

She is both. A mutant who is descended from humans and fairies interbreeding. She has a mutant shape changing power but she is also supernaturally-empowered, and enhanced with white magic energy and black magic energy combined due to her part-fairy heritage. She has been magically-bestowed an inheritance of the portion of the magical powers of her fairy ancestors since birth.

Weird mutant. Might as well just make her an elf or faery.

She is actually a part-human, part-fairy superhuman mutant crossbreed. She is descended from half-human, half-fairy superhuman mutant hybrids. Those direct, ancient ancestors were the products of their human relatives interbreeding with fairies in the far, far distant past. So Meggan Puceanu-Braddock is the direct, future descendant of those normal, ordinary human beings and fairies from Medieval England.

@@pauldesigncomics2625 Yes Northstar and Aurora are also partly descended from Asgardian Light Elves from Alfheim. Mainly on their mother's side of the family with the genes being more dominant in Northstar because he has slightly pointed ears and arched eyebrows. Aurora has more human-like features so it's less obvious with her. But I do believe that Meggan is the first known case of a mutant who is partly-descended from fairies. Her husband Brian Braddock, her brother-in-law Jamie Braddock, and her sister-in-law Betsy Braddock are all half-Otherworlder, half-human, superhuman mutant hybrids, with a full-blooded Otherworlder father, and a normal human mother. Brian inherited more of the Otherworlder genes from his father's side of the family, which is why he has white magic energy supernaturally-empowering, and enhancing him (which is why he has been magically-bestowed the powers of Captain Britain). But in the case of his siblings, they inherited the mutant genes from their pure human mother, making them born with mutant powers that Brian doesn't have. Sounds like a fair trade in the Braddock family.

She is not that overpowered. There are various other superhuman beings in the Marvel Universe who can match her power-levels, or even surpass her strength. Cosmic energy-based beings like Galactus and the Silver Surfer can beat her. Extremely powerful wizards of Master-level like Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme and omnipotent magical gods like Odin can beat her. Superhuman beings with extremely strong psionic powers like Professor X and Phoenix can beat her. The most powerful kinetically and physically strong superhuman beings like the Incredible Hulk and extremely powerful energy manipulating, and projecting superhuman beings like Magneto can beat her.

Meggan's parents were English but they were also partly descended from British gypsy clans. Meggan was born in an area next to the Fenborough Railroad Train Station near London, England, U.K. during a very harsh Winter season. The place where she was born in was said to be, by the Romani people who had lived in wilderness there, to be an ancient cursed place of black magic. That's why when Meggan was born, she had instinctively shape changed into a humanoid wolf-like form in order to better survive the bitter cold weather. The people there thought that the black magic energy in the area had cursed Meggan to be born looking like a werewolf-like she-demon.

She doesn't have too much baggage. She has evolved a lot since the early 1980s. She is Gloriana now. A very powerful half-she-demon and ruler of her own hellish dimension of extradimensional demons. She is very similar to Magik (Illyana Rasputin) but not as strong as Magik is as a sorceress.
