When Dazzler first came out i immediately picked up her comic and became a fan. Her early stories were always fun and easy to digest. i always felt she was the most marketable character they ever created with her being a superstar entertainer, a blond bombshell and her limitless abilities with lights should translate magnificently on screen. She easily could be highest grossing ever.

But Marvel squandered her, she went from being a X-Men to being with Longshot to not being with Longshot anymore to ending up going out every night with Boom Boom getting drunk every night! They don't even put her in any meaningful stories while Rogue who was nothing is now the mutant icon and Dazzled is a party girl and a joke!

She is super underrated. If portrayed correctly, Dazzler would be one of the most powerful mutants to exist.. the ability to absorb sound and turn it into light and the use that last as she pleases is a very op power. She can create force fields, conjure weapons, shoot light energy blasts, move faster than the speed of light, hypnotise, blind or even render someone unconscious r afew basic things of what she is capable of

Her biggest nemesis in comics are the writers who don’t know what to do with her.

Dazzler is an extremely underrated character with limitless potential. She needs a writer who actually cares about the character as although I love Chris Claremont’s Xmen work, he didn’t like the character and wrote her out of the Xmen after 1990, when she definitely should have been involved with the story arcs throughout the 90s and the revamping of the Xmen. Glad she has been re-incorporated back into the Xmen since the mid to late 2000s until present time. We need to see Dazzler on the big screen!!!

At first,Dazzled was bigger than Rogue in popularity until the early 90's now Rogue is the star of the X-Men!

Dazzler is definitely Omega level.

One day a long time ago! I had read all my comics except some Dazzler issues I picked up for the hell of it at a flea market. And was really surprised how well drawn and written her original series was! And there would be no Rogue without her initial comic run!

Dazzler also absorbed the full power of Black Bolts Quasi-Sonic scream easily which is was pretty awesome

They forgot to mention the part where she took on Blackbolt's power and stored it before using it against him and knocking him out. That means if she took on his scream, she will be fine but whomever is on the other end of the conversion is gonna be turned to dust and yes even a guy like Thanos.

If she has absolute control over sound, a power called ultimate sonics which is incredibly destructive and allows you to speak even in the vacuum of space then I guess she’s omega level alongside her light manipulation abilities.

I remember growing up reading her comics; especially when she went to prison on Riker's Island. And her battle with Enchantress. Diffinently, should be in one of the MCU movies with a substantial role 🎼🔊🎤💡💡💡🤗!

I really hope they bring Dazzler into the MCU!!! She is sooooo underrated!

I really do hope and pray that Taylor Swift gives Dazzler the persona and story she really deserves. I want the movie to be centered on Dazzler but like conceptually being able to achieve whatever dreams your heart embraces and never lets go. They can show young dazzler growing up using music as an escape from a household that faces the stress of a poor kid growing up in the country. At one point i also felt Britney Spears would have been great but really Britney gives me Rogue sourhern belle with a strong frame.

Don’t forget that she and Longshot are Shatterstar’s parents.

I love it, too, but the Omega classification he's wrong about. It's not his first time naming a non Omega mutant Omega either.

Did anyone ever play the early X-men's game, which had the Dazzler in it? 🤔

To put it simply her ability to absorb sound without any limits(including black bolts Quasi sonic scream at full power) and do use it for vast array of attacks and defenses

She's definitely not an omega level mutant. People keep taking liberties with that and assigning it to any character they like a lot, but there's a definitive list and she's not on it. She's definitely still a bad ass though.

@@0m3gaph03nix I never saw here as omega level myself, too. I think the term applies to any mutant with no upper-limit to their power. I wonder where Marvel draws the line between concussive air force and upper-level sonic booms. If there is no line, because in the upper levels, she could theoretically endure any kinetic strike/vibration as long as it involves not changing mediums... and turn it into something she can bend into her light power. You know, like DC's Killer Frost turning any level of heat into fuelling her cold power. I'm actually shocked Ice Man made it to the Omega list too.

She can counter Banshee, Black bolt and any other sound base character. Her powers are shown to be a lot stronger than people think she is. Her light spirit gun is wickedly verstile.
