Something about the way the hack teaches the player, even compared to the original game is amazing. The Robot Master levels teach you skills, the Doc Robot stages test them, and by the time you reach the Wily stages you'll have mastered what you need to overcome the hardest challenge.

I dunno if its just me but gosh, the Megaman 3 Intro just gets ya right in those feels, ahh so nostalgic ~ I grew UP with Megaman 2 and 3. Im So hyped to play this "ulimate" version and feel the difference seeing as i just finished MM3 about a few days ago for funs~ Seeing all the new fixes is almost jaw dropping at how "Rushed" the game actually was.

Im very happy that a person used the mm3 improvement patch. i really want to see it used more often, in people's megaman 3/rockman 3 hacks.

Finally a MM3 hack that improved not only the original game's storyline, but it also re-vamped the stages, the game's mechanics (i.e. the quick-weapon-switching feature which I believe uses the Select button), it has more modern sound effects than the original. Gameplay-wise, it is great; but, unless this hack's creator wanted to retain the true essence of MM3, I believe there are some details that were forgotten. 1. To make the storyline more interesting, Proto Man should have been disguised as Break Man during the game's events, and only until he rescues Mega Man from Wily's castle. 2. Mega Man should also be able to use the Top Spin while standing (by throwing one top at a time). 3. During the battles with the Doc Master, the MM1 Robot Masters' data should be used as well, so that Mega Man fights them at Snake Man, Hard Man, Top Man, and Magnet Man's stages. 4. During the Epilogue, the list of robots made by Dr. Light should include Time Man and Oil Man (from Powered Up), with their respective serial numbers.

Nothing was forgotten, all 4 of those ideas violate the rules i set for myself, which was to "not" edit any level designs. Because the main main reason for the entire hack was to encourage people to use it for their own megaman 3 hacks. Thats why i didnt want touch stuff like AI's (only bugfixes/un-used content and sound effects), level designs, etc. Cause then, people wouldn't be able to make a hack of their own.

I know of the Rush bug/exploit(For instances, you get Shadow Blade and can get I believe Rush Jet by selecting over to it, fill it up and use it), but what other bugs are there?

too many to name/count. everything i fixed is all mentioned in the large changelog readme for megaman 3 improvement. i listed every edit, bugfix, enhancement, etc that i did.

I'll take a look. :) Another thing I noticed was that splash sound with Bubble Man's room wasn't present(which didn't make since when did it happened, due to already being underwater). That is a lot fixes. I do like that the planet was added back in Gemini Man's level. I never quite got why it was removed. Fixed the rock/junk monster throw glitch. Thank goodness! That always annoyed me, that glitch was half way to Action 52 levels.

Yea that was super weird about the splash thing appearing for some reason when you come to bubble man fight. not really sure why that would happen Gemini planet exists in the ROM originally, and you can see it on a clean un-modified mm3 rom in the MegaFLE level editor. it's on the 2nd screen of the level. yea it's also weird too why it wasnt placed on the first screen which is how it shows

I did all the coding, but the actual storyline text itself was written by someone + thanatos-zero. Japanese version of mm3 improvement story text was by Puresabe (known for rockman 4 minus infinity)

Why was the Saturn-like planet in the background glowing colors to begin with? Why did the game designers thought of that?

A remake implies it is the same game built from the ground up. This the original rom, just a combined patch that fixes bugs and level design hiccups.

Only one thing missing, the Mega Buster Charge! I wish they had that in this game. It wouldn't have to be overpowered, just make it equal to 4 normal shots. I don't think it would break the game.

Mega man becomes invisible for some reason. Using Ultimate version 1.1 from romhacking.com

You never used Top Spin because you're not Risking to take damage on bosses that are weak to it (Shadow Man and Gamma Phrase 2)

The only reason you like 2 is because it was either the first megaman game you played or the ONLY megaman game you played. The amount of flaws and glitches 2 has is embarrassing. And don't even get me started on the 4th wily stage boss!

When I had the original cartridge I had the same title screen as in your video AK Mega man on the title screen and so does its my cell phone version Met a man on the title screen but every time I download it for my phone the original nes version which is not the original any aspersion it's a stupid virtual console version where Mega man isn't on the title screen I don't know why Capcom They took Mega man off the title screen when they came to the virtual console version it doesn't make any sense to do that is the main hero of the game why take him off the title screen when they made it a download that's just stupid and yet the put him back as downloadable version on the cell phone seriously where's the Justice in that that's not fair to cell phone owners and system owners that only the cell phone gets the good title screen of Mega man 3 with Mega man on the title screen that's not fair fans should complain to Capcom about that
