I've been to EVERY BBQ place in Texas, but this place is SPECIAL. It should be in the tlk when asked "who's the best?" They are that place.

Absolutely awesome. Thank you for this video, Chef. I have a barbecue spot in PA, which I started in 2020 when coronavirus laid me off. You are an inspiration. We won best barbecue last year 2023 for our are “Lehigh Valley”. It’s hard work, but worth it. Thank you! Your barbecue looks amazing and based off of your accomplishments, its the best.

OMG are you kidding? The guy looked and sounded like a CLOWN with that goofy assed big ol FAKE sombrero. I will say that NONE of those 3 "cooks" on that show cooked brisket or ribeyes worth a crap especially the bearded goofball that smothered the steak in peppersons. HaJHa.

Earnest, thanks for sharing your story from humble beginnings to a great success story. You reminded me of some of the hard times in life I faced. I joined the US Army just after my 18th birthday & with the attitude that I can change, I can learn and I won’t quit I have been able to live a good life thanks to my humble beginnings and my career, now that I’m in my senior years.

3:20 - That's really good looking brisket but not worth $28/lb. I'd rather buy a couple TWO pound sirloins and cook them on the pit for LESS money than ONE pound of brisket. Simple math..

That’s the difference between cooking for your self and purchasing a product with sunk and variable costs. Don’t be a jackass.

Apples to oranges......They are wet aged and you loose upto 40% after the trim and cooking, also don't forget your time and wood costs. Plus most likely this is eaten on rare occasions, definitely worth that price!
