I joined the US Army just after my 18th birthday & with the attitude that I can change, I can learn and I won’t quit I have been able to live a good life thanks to my humble beginnings and my career, now that I’m in my senior years.

What kind of cookers are those?
The drums are called Gateway Drums
They're called ugly drum smokers and available complete, in parts kits or design and build your own- which I did. Coincidently the diameter is just right for the 22" Webber grill which is an important part of the build of course. (Ace is the place) It is surprisingly efficient as I can load it with charcoal and wood and cook 6 hrs without refueling. Also they hold their temp real well and recover quickly when opened.
One of the best dudes I have ever met. He was the chef in our cafeteria. Was so happy to see him succeed in his calling.
