The panels of the third edition of the international forum „Media and Culture Days” organized by Radio Romania and ABU, were diverse, challenging, according to the times we are living in.
The broadcasters of all over the world are trying to integrate the new technologies in order to innovate the way they are creating programs and content for their audiences, especially for the young ones.
Aaron Pinto, COO Media Prima Audio from Malaysia, introduced us, during the panel AI - Friend or Foe? the digital DJ. So, we asked Mr. Aaron Pinto which are the most challenging problems we are facing nowadays regarding AI, about the way we are integrating new technologies in radio programs.
„I think it is a very good idea to use new technologies for program production because it makes it more efficient, it makes it cheaper to produce programs. The only thing is for which purposes do we use AI in production processes?”
There are advantages are disadvantage in using AI in the process of radio production. So we asked Mr. Aaron Pinto, what should we do legally in order to have only advantages, in the future?
„You are asking a lawyer a I have the tendency to say don't do it, because there are risks, but this is not my approach. I think that from a legal point of view there is nothing to worry about, because there are already existing legal concept and frameworks”.
