Media and Culture Days 2023

The third edition of ABU and Radio Romania’s international forum „Media & Culture Days” took place in Bucharest, on 16-17 November.
Media experts discussed about challenges, opportunities and about the role in producing and promoting culture and heritage in all its forms.
Also, the broadcasters of all over the world are trying to integrate the new technologies in order to innovate the way they are creating programs and content for their audiences.
„It's a technology that is becoming increasingly popular and now even people from their homes have access to AI whether they know it or not. It is changing the way people are producing information and content and it is also changing the way people are consuming information and content”, said Soud Hyder, Deputy Director of International Digital News from TRT World.
It's obviously that the world is changing and there are many aspects to figure about. So, we asked our guest to tell us which are the problems they are facing in this moment regarding AI.
„AI, in the production process, it makes our work go faster, we are optimizing our work flows that use to take long time. Now it takes half the time or even less. (…) The challenges that are coming now are with editorial values.”
In the end, Soud Hyder, Deputy Director of International Digital News from TRT World, congratulated Radio Romania
„Congratulations to all your Romanian citizens, you have a very beautiful country. Keep doing the good work!”
This year’s conference took place in the frame of „Radio Romania '95” anniversary and was supported by BRD, Smith & Smith Transfer de bani and „Carol I’st Central University Library”.
