The panels of the third edition of the international forum „Media and Culture Days” organized by Radio Romania and ABU, were diverse, challenging, according to the times we are living in.
The broadcasters of all over the world are trying to integrate the new technologies in order to innovate the way they are creating programs and content for their audiences, especially for the young ones.
But, for that we need to have the legal forms and ethical norms.
„I think it is a very good idea to use new technologies for program production because it makes it more efficient, it makes it cheaper to produce programs. The only thing is for which purposes do we use AI in production processes”. (…) What important advice that I tried to communicate in the discussions was the fact of the use of recommendations to serve to individuals”, said Ad van Loon, former Legal Advisor, European Audiovisual Observatory, Advisor of Copyright & Data Protection in GenAI from Netherlands
This year’s conference took place in the frame of „Radio Romania '95” anniversary and was supported by BRD, Smith & Smith Transfer de bani and „Carol I’st Central University Library”.
