Overall graphics yes, but animations are way better here I think. Specially springfield and arisaka, it's even better than Call of Duty 2 in my opinion.

The Lewis gun is actually called the Type 92 "Lewis". Basically it's the japanese knock-off of the Lewis.

They even copied the 303 rimmed British round, which is incompatible with the Type 92 semi-rimmed and Type 99 rimless rounds. This made the Japanese one logistics headache.

lewis gun is like the MG42

I believe the Arisaka rifle uses the same sound effect from the first Medal of Honor game from 1999 for when a German fires his KAR-98K. For some reason, I find it appropriate in this context.

Idk about you, but I dont think its the same. Maybe I have a bad memory. Or its cuz MoH 1999 has a sucky sound effects quality .

Medal of Honor Pacific Assault was the only game that ever came close to dethroning Medal of Honor Allied Assault as the quintessential WWII FPS, that and Call of Duty 2.

Yeah old games the gun actually rocked around when you fired, especially when aiming down sights. They've nerfed recoil impulse hardcore since then, I'm guessing to make the game more balanced

what an underrated game

I miss old games with gun sounds that have omph. Modern sounds from call of duty and battlefield sound so weak and non- distinctive.

I still own this Game to this day

It's a shame Airbourne wasn't as detailed and finished as this.
