    This was awesome, I will watch anything with Shaw in it. Hey I'm a Chef and I could suggest so really great Ideas. Please forward to Brian. For one you have to get a Local butcher shop to sponsor you. Even if it's just a discount and endorsement deal there is money to be saved. All you gotta do Is call up for Lean sirloin by the case, and they will grind it for you saving time in the kitchen. If your interested in some other ideas just hit me up, I'm a huge fan of Brian Shaw

    It's annoying that a world class athlete like Brian has to cook his own meals like this, he's literally one of the best in the world at what he does. This really makes other pro athletes look spoon fed, i wonder how many of them would still be getting better if they had to put the work in in the kitchen like Brian does.

    Except for a lucky few who get their wives to do it (Eddie Hall) it seems common for strongmen to cook for themselves from what I've seen. Brian Shaw could afford to have someone cook for him if he wanted; any upper middle class person could afford that if it were a priority.

  • @frodothehobo9938

    @frodothehobo9938

    6 жыл бұрын

    i highly recommend you avoid grinding chicken, not because it changes anything nutritionally, but because whoever washes your dishes will hate you, if you wash your own dishes, you will hate yourself. it gets slimy, and sticks all over the thing and because of bacteria you have to find every little piece of it. you'll be cleaning it for 3 days.

    Chicken is pretty gross to work with. All that fat on it has the consistency of snot and I always feel like I'm trying to remove boogers from my food. I find ground turkey much more appetizing and much easier to prepare.

  • @classicsgaming

    @classicsgaming

    6 жыл бұрын

    To make things easier on the grinder put the meat in the freezer first for an hour or so. Don’t let it freeze solid but you want it pretty firm. Also put your grinder parts in the freezer too. If you can keep whatever meat you’re grinding from heating up you can stop it from being slimy & get a more consistent grind. Alternatively just bring your meat purchase to the butcher counter & they’ll grind it up for you for free.

    Big strong dudes that dwarf every other male have zero insecurities, thus they would never resort to bullying or other insecure behavior. Big dudes are always laid back and kind/gentle for this very reason. And yup, he can attract some crowds of females too with that big bear mode going on! ;)

    Wow Brian, that’s a serious operation. As a BBQer I appreciate that you didn’t obliterate those burgers, they looked really well done and bonus points for going by internal temps. If you ever want to do a cheat day or meal prep of BBQ let me know and we’ll see how much brisket you and your buds can put away. Have a good one 👍

    Ever throw some herbs and/or spices in with your beef? I mean, when you're going through that kind of volume little tricks like that for variety might be useful... A little parsley, green onion, and garlic go a long way sometimes. Or you can do, say, a mexi burger with cilantro, cumin, and chili powder? Just little themes that only take a minute and don't require any extra equipment.. If you're doing fresh herbs they can even go through the grinder with your beef.
