Even a CD or vinyl release would be great. I'd buy this if you release it. You have made the best cover of this song I've ever heard, and that includes covers by famous and award winning musicians!Incredible job! Your lead and background vocals are perfect, as is your guitar playing. I love what sounds like a chorus effect on both your vocals and guitar. I think I hear a little bit of a phasing effect as well which I like. However you made this, it's wonderful. Your musical skills and your confidence are growing, and this may be the best example of that yet. The way you look at the camera and your smile show a woman who knows she is a fantastic singer and musician, yet without a trace of arrogance. That confidence and smile are refreshing. Keep up the great singing, the great musicianship, and the humble confidence and I think you could go places in the music industry. Thanks again for a beautiful performance! :)

So often young women have a thin, reedy vocal quality that seems the commercial norm these days. You have a sweetly delicious, strong voice with a lovely timbre. Really good for recording. Really like your covers!

I agree with Clint..I live in Canada and your covers are so wonderful..Don't let others say you can't do it..with your friends, family and the support you have here on KZread, you can do it!! You have the skills..put them to use and release the best of Amy Slattery covers..I'm sure they will sell well in the North American market once you get your name out..Word of mouth is always the best way when starting out..well...put it this way Amy..you have some people like myself following you and they are wondering the same thing about when you will release a best of album..they want to hear you sing!! Like your use of multi-track harmonies, and the way it "builds" throughout the song. Good reverb and phazer setting. Warm presence and personality (listened a hundred times or so). Also like your versions of "Rain", "Paperback Writer", and "Yes It Is"

After hearing that I dug up the chords and practiced it myself.It's now part of my repertoire :) Amy, if you want to add a little "tweak"to it,try playing a Dmaj7 as the 2nd chord rather than the Bm. (ie the bottom 3 strings on fret#2 with an open Dstring) Also in the chorus, after the G, put your little finger on the 4th string 4#fret when you play the D. I think it suits the song better.I'd be interested in your opinion on how that sounds. Kindest regards, Atom.
