It was reversed on the album so I guess the energy that was put into it was George Martin.

The guitar solo didn't sound like the original, which was 2 guitars--one with distortion and one without. The guitar solos were recorded backwards. I do wonder how the solo would sound on one of those Talk Back (reverse delay) pedals.

Very effective (pun intended). Sounds like he's running his electric through an effects pedal with a sitar sound, set on a slow attack or maybe he's also got a volume foot pedal to swell the notes in.

I used to go watch them religiously at Disneyland !!!! They are brilliant !! The sound here does not do them justice!! They have to be experienced live!!!!

The first time I've seen The Beatles 1966 trough the Fab Four lads; excellent interpretation!! "I'm Only Sleeping" rocks anytime!!

That was a goddamn brilliant cover of one of my all-time favorite songs. John's voice is very hard to emulate in this song, it's almost like a "strong" falsetto (I know that's something of a contradiction, but it sort of makes sense). Even George's backwards guitar solo sounds great. Well done and thank you!

One thing good about these guys as well as the older generation reliving the good old days is the Younger kids today somewhat experiencing how it/they were back in the day. Bloody cool at that!!

Yes they can. They don't perform that song very often, tho. When they're on tour they do pretty much the Greatest Hits package, their words not mine, because they don't have the time to prepare. It's their SoCal shows, like this one, that they do the rarities.

There are a few tricks that I know of for reproducing that guitar solo live and they work pretty good. Whatever he's doing he did a fantastic job here. I wish the camera would have been on him at the appropriate time.

sounds to me like he's using a sitar-guitar or something similar with sympathetic strings. That's just what I hear though, could be wrong. Mad at the cameraman for not showing us! haha
