Your garden is so lush and beautiful. Your Steven West shawl is gorgeous and you may appreciate the pattern more as you age. Our tastes change sometimes. Your white handspun is perfect, it has life, it’s breathing🐑💕🐑 Thanks for the tour!
I knitted the Slipstravaganza in bright colors and I love it, but yours is even more beautiful!
I am OBSESSED with your Slipstravaganza!!! Also love it styled with the striped sweater!
I couldn’t make it to last Sunday’s live. My family kidnapped me early for Mother’s Day. I did watch it later on Monday. I was surprised to hear my name, but I thought the basket looked great with your work in it. And the doilies were perfect where you placed them. I’m so glad you liked them. Really, I totally understood how you felt about getting to the fun of choosing the Wool you wanted. I thought the barn was teeming! Don’t let the fact that we had a short conversation be a regret. I felt that our conversation was a highlight of my day. Such a pleasure to meet you. Next year I hope to be ready to buy a fleece! Maybe we can split one!😉
Your SW shawl is by far the best that I've seen in terms of color and it makes the design look stylish instead of garish, In other words I love it, it's my favorite.
Girl. That yarn. So so stunning 😍
Thanks for sharing so much! I love the shawl and the garden. Kudos to you for all the work you put into that beautiful fleece! I’m just north of you in PA, so glad to have found a local knitter/podcaster to follow.
MDSW was SO fun this year - I'm glad you had a great time! The weather was so wonderful, especially compared to last year! Your handspun always makes me so inspired to try spinning someday but I feel like I'd be an absolute disaster at it haha. Maybe one day I'll give it a try! It looks so satisfying and rewarding
It looks like you had a lovely time! And I’m excited to see your wool spun up
Hi Taylor! Thanks for sharing more about your experience at the Maryland Sheep & Wool festival! I hope to make it to the East Coast one year for that event :) I’m amazed at all the wool you washed!! I just dipped my toes into processing fiber and was exhausted after only washing 6oz of fiber 😂
My first time watching your podcast. I really enjoyed it! I’m so glad it popped up. Your shawl is absolutely beautiful😊. The colors are perfect.
Your garden is beautiful!
My first time watching your channel and loving it. Frederick is my hometown and a pilgrimage is overdue. I want to make it to the Md. Festival and magpie is on my bucket list
I LOVE the shawl!! The contrast between the colors gives the piece a lot of drama without being too overwhelming, which I really like. MDSW was a LOT of fun -- I'm new-ish to living in Maryland still so it was my first time going. My grandfather raised sheep for years, so it felt very home-y. My in-laws brought my nephews with them -- the 4-year-old may or may not have thought he was going to the sheep and WOLF festival... quite a different show there. 😶
Did you see that the Wool Needles Hands podcast called the Kingston Cardi as one of their top classic cardigans?! I also saw the pattern on the first page of the hot right now on Ravelry!!! Congratulations!!!!🎉

Whoaaaa!!! So cool!
I’m jealous of the fantastic looking weather you got for the festival. I’m glad you had such fun and got some great wools to work with. Thanks for sharing :)
Beautiful handspun!! I saw you at the fleece barn but got nervous. I also get the rush to hurry up and look for the fleece before it's bought....and I got there an hour late!
Your new shawl is exquisite. It looks very expensive, like only women who married a billionaire can afford it. It's not loud.
Hi Taylor. Aren’t we lucky we can spin. It’s such a skill that I really treasure. I live in Australia and am surrounded by sheep. It was lovely to see a U.S.A sheep show. Thanks for all your hard work filming and editing etc. Loved the podcast, it was the highlight of my week.
So I'm all about the cats haha was lovely to see Sultry Kitchen?? (how did she end up with that name, I'm sure you've probably told us?). I love the shawl and so works with your palette but not sure if you're like me and it takes me 6 months before I can see past the knitting of it and actually to the how to wear it! Thanks for the footage of the festival, always wondered what it looked like, we don't have anything like it here in NZ. 😊

Years ago, when we were viewing homes we gave them all nicknames to remember them by. “Sultry Kitchen” is what we said to refer to the newly renovated countertops and cabinetry that didn’t match our personal style. All of our pets have names that start with S, so when we named our new kitten we thought the name Sultry Kitchen would be funny. 😻
I feel like I should apologise to you Taylor! I subscribed to your channel over a month ago and was watching every episode. Then for the month leading up to the MD Sheep and Wool, I somehow didn’t watch. But I caught up watching everything! I spin too, but don’t get much raw fleece. Here in New Zealand sheep out number people! But alot of farms that sell fleece will get it carded first and mix a Gotland with Corriedale for example. Your spinning is amazing! I need to do more and hope mine evolves to be like yours with plump airy yarns 😊

No apology needed!! 💖💖💖
I was also at the festival and was also drained after a few hours. Ansel is my favorite jill draper makes stuff base. It's discontinued but her mohonk light is also fantastic.
Thank you for the garden tour. Like a lot of knitters I too enjoy gardening. I like to plant herbs from seed, nasturtiums also from seed. I planted Lilies and zinnias and geraniums. I love it all. Thank you again for all your incredible work and inspiration.

Really like the Stephen West shawl. It is lovely and looks great on you. Thanks for the visit to the Maryland Sheep and Wool. It reminded me of the good old days when I was buying fleece. The choices are better than ever, although the prices are much higher as well. With respect to mineral sun screens, you might be interested in Dr. Dray’s recent you tube video on the subject. Just keep in mind that a mineral sunscreen “is” a chemical sunscreen.
Totally agree with everything you say especially in regard to dating and rehab. Currently watching a close relative going through the dating etc😢
Vertices unite is fun and easy and stunning
You look so lovely in that shawl~!! eeek it is done. I need to try dossier perfumes! Have you tried Image tinted SPF? I have been loving it, and there really isn't much tint, so it doesn't seem to affect my foundation or anything. I just loved your brain dump/editing. So true about the rehab comment! But the best part is the candid comments right in the middle of the podcast. KEEPING IT REAL.

Your garden is gorgeous and lush!
Hello Taylor, good morning! What a fun time you had a MS&W! Sorry that the Powdery Vanilla was not your cup of tea. The shawl is truly a work of art IMO! Makes me want to go to another wool festival! ClaudiaSJI

Hey! If you had enough money would you want to own a house with land for your gardening and to own your own sheep?

I am far too neglectful of a person to own livestock. Also, it would take time away from making things… One day, I would very much like to live on a property large enough to have a luxury chicken coop though!

I’m not sure how to interpret this comment but sunscreen and spinning yarn are both VERY SERIOUS subjects. 😂

That was hard watching her pull that sheep on the leash. And that lady laughing. It’s hard to seee how we exploit animals. They dont want to have those over there faces. I teared up. I knit and hope they are cruelty free the ones that say they are.
