Gosh, Starbaby is very involved today ❤ I've been wearing sunscreen on my face and neck daily since i learned how important it was, and I've started putting it on my arms (and legs as needed) also since I've been cycling. It's reminded me that all exposed areas need it. My mom has skin cancer on her forehead and gets it removed often. She's almost 90. They had supposedly uv protective skylights in their retirement home and I'm certain that's what caused it for her because of the location and her habits. 🎉 Happy Birthday! 🎂

Yes, it's probably a hybrid cashmere and angora goat. Angora goats (not to be confused with angora rabbits) are where we get mohair fiber. The shared name (angora) is from the city of Ankara, Turkey, which is why two totally different animals are both called that.

I love skin care as well. My current favorite non-tinted sunscreen is P. Calm SPF 50+ PA++++. It’s a Korean brand. Happy Birthday!

Wanted to add, i like using banana boat light as air 50 spf for my face and neck. I use a sports sunscreen for arms and legs. The banana boat is water resistant. Recently i tried carpe matte sweat proof on my face and neck. Very effective, though taking it off my face felt relieved, like it could finally breathe. So i don't know if i like that. But it helps with menopause sweats for me, and cycling too, even walking. 💐

💐 I love your garden tours!! I'm hoping to grow a pawpaw tree but it'll have to be moved in and out since I live in Montana I have an avocado and going to do mango and olive as well!! Your knits are gorgeous currently working on a Saxon braid shawl with brick red hand spun wool!!

Happy birthday for the 10th? Mine is the 11th. Your handspun plying is so even and luscious. The sheen on the unspun locks is amazing. SPF 50 to prevent keratosis here in South Australia. The sun has damaged my skin not wearing or a hat when I was younger. Mineral make-up and sunscreens are better at deflecting the suns rays as recommended by my Skin specialist. But can be greasy. I use Natio SPF50, that is a non-greasy moisturising but light product. Cherry tomatoes require full sun. Espalier your fig on a frame sideways so it doesn't take up space.

Sending super belated birthday wishes!!! I'm not sure what sunscreens you are getting from Europe but they are probably safer since there are a lot tighter regulations in Europe overall. I have actually been super happy with the Sky & Sol sunscreen here in the US since it leaves no white or long greasy residue. It's for the face and body with an spf of 30 or 50 and it is such a "clean" product that if someone accidentally ate it (lol) it would be safe and it's also safe for the reef.

the Artus shawl is looking great! also I love how its the exact same shade ochre as your shirt. speaking of the shirt, wanted to say that with some of the coarser wools, the more you wear it, the softer and cosier it can feel sometimes. kind of like a tartan skirt that is itchy as all heck when you first get it, but after wearing it regularly for a year its super comfortable.

Yes! I only planted them in areas the kitties don’t frequent. They are smart and don’t eat much of the plants. 🌱

💐Happy birthday! ( tomorrow) great video! Loved the sunscreen talk as well. Many sunscreens are not excepted into the US because the FDA is such a poorly run institution! But one I like that you’ve likely already tried is La Roche Pose tinted sunscreen. It wouldn’t be good for the darker skinned man or woman but for the paler complexion this is good, minimal fragrance, good on its own and pairs well with other cosmetics. Shippy stays with Bryan’s parents on their farm and the cats have a friend that feeds them twice a day. Even the feral colony is cared for in our absence thanks to him! 💖
