She has a unique voice and a good voice, but she unlike other constants hasnt really gotten any better/stronger vocally yet everyone else has improved every new show. Infact her last few performances although not bad weren't as good as her early times. She has also basically done the same slowish song at a piano way to much and needs to work the crowd more. KB was killng it way more the last few shows.

Hands down McKenna has the best voice on the show. It would be a tragedy if tone death voters send her home.

In order to win, she needs to cover instantly recognizable standards like she did with "The Story", or "Both Sides Now". Blue Eyes Cryin' In the Rain, I Fall To Pieces, Blue Bayou, The Sound of Silence, The First Time Ever..., and so on are perfect for Mckenna's voice. Idol producers give great songs to choose from to those they hope will win. Great singers, Mckenna, is a great singer, don't get quite the choice of others. But a couple others (not to be named), seem to be who producers want in the final 3.

Enjoying closing my eyes so as not to be distracted. Would I want to hear this voice on my playlist? Doing this for all the singers tonight. I would love to listen to this be voice on my playlist!

I asked my boyfriend who he thought was the best contestant on AI this year. He had missed some shows so I asked him to stream and watch. His first choice? McKenna: She’s the🌟shining star🌟this season!! He loves her low, husky, raspy voice that I also love and describe as the sheer tone that cuts through glass. I was truly shocked that she and KB were the bottom two tonight!!! If we are talking specifically about voice sound and performances there’s no way honestly, they are the bottom two if we are grading voices and even on appeal and stage presence - These young artists sing with pure emotion in every performance and the cry in their songs is so unique and it takes some skill or innate ability to do it!!! No hate here - I am just talking constructive criticism that could have been pointed to a few other contestants who I couldn’t hear their voices over the loud instruments. And believe me I love loud guitars and their performances have been great this year. I’m just talking about tonight. The great thing about AI is that once the contestant is in the Top 10 they usually go on to get a record deal or something in the entertainment industry. KB is so young and talented I know we will all see her again 🌟

I agree with what you said, but I believe it was Simon himself who said AI is a popularity contest, not a singing compilation. McKenna is my absolute favorite, Abi has an amazing voice also and tonight she was the best technically…., but no way should McKenna have been in the bottom two. As I said, AI is a popularity contest….vote for your favorite
