Thats not happening. With all the fights already booked and conor the main event. Theres not gonna be any title fights on this ppv. Who know if or when conor will fight again after this. Theyre gonna use conor to bring eyes to more fighters they want to hype up. Expect alot of bo nickal vs cody brundage type matchups on this ppv. Expect at least 3 or 4 snoozefest wmma fights or a wmma bmf fight because lately disneys journalist have been twisting danas arm about it. Expect a card like that. Your plotting and planning for the undercard of McGregor v Chandler was spot on, UFC should hire you. It's pro wrestling type thinking, as far as storylines and all, but damn they are under the same umbrella and it makes sense.

The 300k bonus is what made that card pop. Money is a serious motivator. Who would thunk? Hopefully this will increase fighter pay and make for less lackluster cards like the one this weekend.

From my point of view, thats really smart of them. Ali/Islam saw Dustin (fresh off of 1 win after getting KO'd) as the easiest possible opponent, so you can see why they were going hard-out on twitter calling for that fight rather than face a competent wrestler like Gamrot (also they didn't mention Arman/Gamrot's name once, always Poirier).

The slander against Makhachev is ridiculous. Makhachev flew to Vegas last summer and asked the UFC to fight then. They made him sit out till October. Makhachev had a an injury earlier this year but told the UFC he could fight on the March PPV. UFC told him nobody was available. Gaethje decided to take the Max fight and lost. I dont see what the issue is with the Porier fight? Arman will get the winner in the fall. People acting like Dustin doesn't have a win over Gaethje, two wins over Max, two wins over Mcgregor, etc.
