And they're complaining about a "slight decrease" in profits. Sorry, but its not realistic to expect only profit increases. Especially when housing costs have jumped as well as everything else. Do they even realize that some people have to pay over 1k/mo just in car payment and insurance, nevermind rent...of course not...the people who are on the csuite aren't affected by their actions.

I eat there occasionally. Your forgetting some people don't have the time to cook their own meals everyday. Plus having fast food every so often isn't bad for you as long as you keep a healthy balance.

I used to think McDonald’s was a poor persons type restaurant. Nothing wrong with that either by the way. I was humbled quickly when I went to get my daughter some chicken nuggets for $10. Get out of here.

You can get a meal at a sit-down restaurant for those prices.

We don't eat at any fast food restaurants. Went to one 2 yrs ago and for three people our lunch at Dairy Queen cost us 43.00. lunch at a local restaurant, with alcoholic beverage was 56.00. Won't eat fast food ever again.

Even Wendy's biggie meal starts at $7 and goes up to $9 where I'm at in Ca. Ain't no 5 Dolla nothing these days.

Yeah all the fast food companies are just artificially keeping prices high. I haven't gone to any of them in over a year now. Let them go bankrupt!

Dont forget to mention 2 important stats: the company profit margins and the franchise fees. These chains are owed by billionaires and run by millionaires who are trying to replace the kid making $12/hr by making you be your own cashier.

We used to eat out once or twice a week and when we were working mornings or late evenings McDonald's was to go to place but not anymore you can't afford to go there so we quit

Why even go to McDonalds if you can get a better burger with bottomless fries for almost the price.

Went to carls jr for a western bacon meal. 15 fu**ing dollars!! I made the decision to not pull up there anymore. I remember begging my pops for 8 bucks to get the double western back in 2009. Crazy

I occasionally use their filthy bathroom and fill my water jug. Eat there?? Nope.

People should stop going to McDonald's. They are getting to greedy for that unhealthy food. You can buy a tray of hash browns at the grocery store for $5.98 you get 12 hash browns in the tray. Stop patronizing them, and lets see what they do. They are charging $10.00 for a fish sandwich, thats ridiculous.

It ain’t inflation. Haven’t had that higher than wages for 3 years now. It’s price gouging and corporate level profits needed as excuses to do buybacks and mergers. They could lower all prices by 30% and still profit. Just not AS MUCH.

A small $5 value "meal" will not be enough. Still too expensive!

I cannot speak for anybody else but I stopped buying fast food not because of the prices, which have steadily gone up, but because the food is trash; health wise. I've been actively boycotting all these types of places. Sorry for the employees that work there, but it's no longer feasible to justify a meal for 1 person costing around $19-$22 when you can literally buy ingredients at the market and make at home the same menu for 4 with that. And it tastes better.

In Canada it’s $20 for a mac combo meal. Outrageous
