I feel Travis' pain on the question "Can I bring *food/drink item* I bought in the airport shop on board the plane with me and consume it." but I've learned the answer is yes, you CAN bring a small bottle of wine or bigass bottle of beer you just bought aboard the plane and consume it, as long as you kinda half-hide it between your legs and pull a face like the TAZ: Dust episode coming through your headphones atm has just REALLY swept you away from this moment in time and place whenever the nice ladies with the overpriced sprite carts roll by.

Used to live in TN, can confirm that that's why I left and moved to Ohio. Might be the worst state in the country, but at least you can eat pizza here!
