    I used to question why May did pad work like this as well but after thinking about it the answer is clear. He is training skill, technique and muscle memory not strength and power. This is training for his fighting style!!! Anyone can go to the gym and gain strength and power by lifting weights and doing cardio but skill takes practice and focus too.

    you mean 1 million buys? and i think most people just want to see a good fight. and yes floyds fight against maidana was a complete waste of money and the worst boxing buy ive made since winky wright vs bhop when they were both 40 years old. even the undercad sucked for mayweather maidana 2. but i dont think pacquiao has the buy power he had in 2011 and no one outside of boxing knows who algieri is so it might be a rough one for top rank but hopefully not. im going to ac to see kovalev vs hopkins so im just excited for that

    He is looking alot stronger. For those who dont know what the fuck they talking about, it takes 4 to 6 weeks to gain a pound of muscle. So if Mayweather trains for 8 weeks im sure he lifts weights in the beginning of training then tapers off closer to fight time. He does enough cardio to offset the weight lifting so therfore he will be stronger but the weight lifting wont slow down his speed. Besides speed is natural u either got it or u don't.

  • @indodaemdaka

    Boxing w/Nassir the weight lifting makes him last longer when he does his boxing training. Combat sports coaches hate weight lifting, but it does have its benefits! I've seen it in my own training! Weight lifting+cardio+boxing drills=G.O.A.T

    I've worked out on traditional heavy bags kzread.infoUgkxp9-sf95nqfjey-uyzxUzQ7m9MXRPK1BE a spherical stuffed "wrecking ball" bag, and now this thing. What I like about it is that it has the heft to stay largely in place so I'm not chasing it around. It's tall enough to allow for headshots and body shots, but it's short enough to give an uppercut somewhere to land. I'm very happy so far. Filling it was a bit of a cluster. For top-offs, I've learned that you can screw the supplied nozzle onto any basic plastic water bottle. I can't speak to durability as I've only had it a week.

    Mayweather said he feels stronger this training camp because he's been doing more weight lifting and stuff but lifting weights doesn't do as much for power as people think and it isn't that good for Boxers... You might get physically stronger but i don't know about how much it will improve your punching power and it makes you slower

    Mayweather has upped his punch count for the maidana fight part 2. September 13 , 10 days away Floyd hit the heavy bad 4,000 times more then he did for last fight.. Floyd is going to kill maidana . People saw Floyd spin off the ropes when he fought maidana in the first fight. around round 6 or so .. You same people think he could not have started out doing that in round 1 come on....... even I saw punches in fight one that Floyd did not take he had a lot on his mind but , People are going to see a Floyd like never before mark my words.. he also intered the fight at 147 maidana weighed more.. If maidana thought he won the first fight then why not win again with the same gloves he wore for fight one he felt he won anyway right so do it again people saw Floyd loss like 5 rounds or 4 and all of a sudden Floyd was beat in the first fight really? Chino was fighting dirty as fuck and if he does that this fight I think he will be disqualified...But watch and learn. MOney Team..

  • @thechosenpeople2022
    @thechosenpeople20229 жыл бұрын

    I think maidana might rush floyd in one of the first few rounds and get a knock down on floyd, it's just a feeling, floyd starts off pretty slow and maidana is dumb and reckless, dosent respect floyds power, and that's exactly what he needs to be to get a knock down on floyd. Floyd should go in there either standing in the pocket throwing very sharp and hard counters like a rigondeaux, use perfect footwork with potshots, or blast maidana with offense kind of like what kahn did without the recklessness.

    Mayweather doesn't hit the bag hard at all because he has hand problems and the reason he's able to throw so many punches on the bag and on the pads is because he's punching so soft and isn't exerting himself really... I know his hands are fragile and he cares more about technique but come on you got to hit the bag a little harder

    i agree its a retarded comment to try to say anything about mayweathers endurance or training cause hes the best at both. but it is true he has horrible hands so he doesnt hit the heavy bag that hard most of his shots and the heavy bag is meant to be hit hard and to increase power. at same time who the hell is anyone to try to tell floyd how to train. and at the same time you can say floyds style has become boring in his later years and you can hate his attitutde. but you really cant say shit when it comes to skill. mayweather was knocking people out all the time b4 hands problems. and with 2 hands that probably fracture every fight he is still out boxing everyone,. so hate if you want to but give him his props when it is deserved

    Didn't know being the least hit boxer and the most accurate puncher in history at the same time is a insult to the sport. Majority of legends that speak about him says he's the best ever of his era.
