This workout here would kill most students, you have to be In tip top shape to pull this workout off. The scary shit is Floyd was probably just warming here, probably went and ran 7 miles after that or did another stupid hard drill. The man is in incredible condition.

not a Floyd fan but ppl talking about why he hitting soft...he really isn't hitting soft...this is a BIG HEAVY BAG... not sure if you guys tried hitting these but they will break your hand shatter your wrist if hitting it wrong...lighter bags are for combos n power... the big boy is designed to perfect technical punching and mechanics of punching and foot work.

it will shatter your wrist if you have no idea how to hit properly . The use of a heavy bag is for power punches. Otherwise you have pads , shadow boxing or sparing.

Can't believe that people still complaining about Floyd's power!! There are many ways to win a fight beside hurting someone... You can win with your speed, strategy, defence, counters, combinations, foot wotk, or even adopting to your opponent. And Floyd chooses doing all of those but not using power, maybe its simply not his thing. I wish that other boxers focus on the other part of boxing beside hitting hard. Win smart without tyring hard

I know for a fact he can go for 12 rounds straight on the heavy bag without rest so anybody saying they can do better , he's barely warmed up . He's also not going full energy to prevent unnecessary injury for obvious reasons . This was a PR and photo op , he also went slow so the cameras can pick up his hands otherwise they would be a constant blur with regular camera. I like the way he demonstrated his signature shoulder roll a couple of times . Anyone who thinks this is his 100% is just silly .

saine414 I know how to use a heavybag. It's not all about power in your punches, you need to make them fast too, like Muhammad Ali. He wasn't a hard hitter, but very fast, and many people call him the best professional boxer ever. Plus, Mayweather is all about the defense and countering, so his punches don't need to be (that) hard.

+saine414 For him it's to practise the snap and the technique. It's not set in stone that a heavy bag has to be used like that, afterall you look at his style of boxing small combinations pop out then pop back in. They have boxing routines and regimes that suit their style and what they want to work towards so obviously it's going to be different from the average joe's routine, there's a reason why he's undefeated.
