"I'm allergic to my ego." I love her honesty and vulnerability so much. And funny, not just on TV. She's a great role model for kids -- and adults -- who don't feel they fit in. She's so honest about the world of academia, too. Absolutely true. Thanks for posting the entire talk, in which she also addresses very serious questions on Jewish identity, women's attire in the tradition, and much more.

Mayim Bialik is awesome and one of the smartest women in the world and one of the prettiest women awesome interview

When your show was on, I used to turn it on so the little neighbor girl could watch it from my front porch. It gave her such joy, I hope she has found a powerful future for herself. Thank you for exploring and choosing for yourself what works about life.

I love her so much. I don't always *agree* with her on everything - but hell, my husband and I disagree on many things but we love one another. I love her and I think she's so beautiful, within and without.

There isn't a spin off as such But Myaim and Jim parsons have started working on a show together which sounds kind of like an Amy character main.

Love listening to Mayim but the sound quality is so poor I may not listen to the whole thing.

She is so sincere and self confident. She is very true to her beliefs. 🤗

poor Mayim, this interviewer was TERRIBLE... Mayim is so smart interesting and well spoken...luckily she was up to all the heavy lifting

It represents Christians pushing lies about the Torah and Jews. Many were born Jewish or have a parent who was born Jewish and are the victims of evangelism.

I kinda feel like the interviewer doesn't really like Mayim.

Not only do we look alike we also grew up in similar households. She is great! My first love when I was an adult was a Jewish Man. I was so naive I took him home for Easter to Mom and Dad's for dinner....only I could be stupid! LOL, I have learned a lot since then and have great respect for the religion.

Usually love her her stuff, but that right there around the 20mins something mark - what the heck?! Not everyone in our industry makes mad amounts of money. Really happy for you that you get to have that privilege, that's awesome! However, the vast majority of us out here are fighting tooth and nail to get our pay boosted UP to minimum rate - and we don't have the luxury of an open platform like this to comment on it publicly, so please don't misrepresent your colleagues like that.

I think it is important to distinguish a PhD from a job. The path to completing a PhD is a process of transformation. A job is a task for money. The process of transformation is lifelong the lessons gained are used throughout that journey. A job tends to be time-bound. In other words, a job can be lost; a PhD cannot.

This interviewer was horrendous
