Really ? To me it looks like a museum, no piece of wood younger than 100years, chicken feeder on the ceiling ...ceiling with rivets like on the Titanic. But I know what you mean ... you dear to use it and to touch it.

@@holger_p funny thing about the rivets on the TITANIC. When they scooped up a good # of them from the ocean bottom, brought them to the surface and did metallurgy tests on them, they found out that they had up to 10% SLAG in them. A good wrought iron rivet is only suppose to have 1% to 2% slag in it. 10% would make those rivets EXTREMELY BRITTLE!! AND THAT WAS ALL IT TOOK FOR A FREAKING HUGE ICEBERG TO SNAP DOZENS AND DOZENS OF THOSE RIVETS HOLDING IT'S HULLS PLATES TOGETHER. For decades it was said that the iceberg tore a huge gash in the hull, but IN fact, the plates were only separated by about 1 inch. Doesn't sound like much but plug up a sink, turn one of the facets to a small trickle and come back 2 hours later....see what I mean. Now scale that up to an 800 foot long Ocean Liner and you pretty much get the same results. Why were the rivets so bad anyway? Maybe the shipyard was in such a hurry to get the ship done it cut corners. Maybe the shipbuilding company thought it could save money by cutting corners. Maybe the Irishmen building the ship in BELFAST hated the ENGLISH SO MUCH that they didn't care if they did slopshod work. One thing for. I would not compare ROB'S WORKMANSHIP to that of some shipyard worker in BELFAST. ROB'S WORK LOOKS VERY METICULOUS. HE LOOKS LIKE HE TAKES ALOT OF PRIDE IN HIS WORK.

@@carlgreisheimer5278 Interesting. But at least today - no man in a screw factory does know in what product their screws go. I think the same applies to rivtes. And the inertia of the iceberg can hardly be estimated today, cause the size is almost unknown. So very likely there would have been severe damage , on better steel also. It's two masses in motion and one has to absorb the energy.

Your probably one of the few celebrities who made the jump to fame without losing touch with who you are.... congratulations on that :) We adore you Mayim!

On a recent pod where she answered 50 questions about herself, she said she was "dating" someone, but that she is still single and is available to date others. I wonder how far she has gone with this person she is "dating"! Do they have coffee at diners, do they go for hikes in the mountains, do the play music and sing together.....in other words its just PLATONIC! OR.....is he her new MANFRIEND...do they meet some where discreetly.....are they having SEX frequently!!! I WANT TO KNOW!!!!

Okay....I totally relate to the forgetting to turn the oven off while warming it up a bit to raise bread dough.....I have done it dozens of times...BUT I finally thought of a better way! One if u leave the oven light on it will give steady warmth....and the other is to heat my large cast iron pan up to very hot and put it in the bottom rack of the oven....shut the oven and it works very nicely 😁 Love ur kitchen! Thanks for sharing 👍

Don't really like the kitchen but I LOVE her. She's so down-to-earth. I love that she treasures/honors the past and that she's vegan, and seems so 'normal' (un-show biz-y). And even though I don't much like the kitchen, I do like that it's a normal one like one you'd see in an everyday household. I often don't like (really expensive) celebrity fancy kitchens either, so it's not just this one.

I’ve always adored her! Very real, no nonsense person and thank you for having a normal kitchen! Love that counter and farm sink 💕

What a sweet kitchen! I'm so sorry you lost your tea towels. I had a Hungarian grandmother as well. My cousin and I were chatting on Facebook, we are both sad that her recipes were lost. I would love to have her nut roll (with white raisins), and her poppyseed roll recipes.

Absolutely lovely. I would need more light but it seems she really uses it well. Lucky kids with a parent that really cooks. As my children grew up all their friends always were at our home for homemade meals and snacks.

I thought the same too! I need lots of light when I am cooking. Plus, she lives in California where it's dark by 6 o'clock. This makes a kitchen with dark cabinets even darker! I do love her sink! In Germany we clean copper sinks with lemon and salt! The water fixtures are basically the same here too, so a pail or large pot can be filled without trouble!

@@fredrika27 I'm in Northern California, it's 8:55PM, the sun has set about 45 min ago but we've yet to see last light. You're probably thinking of daylight savings time that starts around Halloween where it's dark at 6:30.

@@d.r.3362 Yes, that is what I am thinking about! Summer isn't the problem rather the winter months are! Remember if you live above Eureka, your days are longer than people who live LA or San Diego! The further north you live the longer the days are in the summer and the shorter they are in the winter. People who live closer to the equator have more balanced days throughout the year!!! When I lived in California, there was about an hours difference sun light between north and south.

@Alexis M. Actually that is not true! There is about a 90 minute difference between Eureka and San Diego! The people in Eureka have more sunlight in the summer than the people in San Diego!

I love the openness of the cabinets. I don't have my own home but I've always loved the look of just shelves and maybe a lace curtain set on the window. The lights are beautiful and inspired.
