I knew when I was casually listening while my housemate was watching and heard Mayim say "Single Jeopardy" that people were gonna lose their shit over it....I swear people need to reexamine their life if something like this is what triggers them...

You have completed missed the point of this video. There is nothing to cleanup. Saying Single Jeopardy Round vs just Jeopardy Round is a non-issue. Addressing that it is weird that it went viral is not a PR cleanup.

Indeed. Every interviewer just happens to bring up a petty social media criticism on all the shows she’s been on. I think not. For someone who constantly brags about how smart she is, this is very obvious.

We focus on that because we are the audience and are used to Jeopardy not "Single Jeopardy".

I can not stand her. I also tune out when she is on. Get Ken back full time and get rid of the emotive nonsense.

Watch as Mayim flirts with the camera. She's making it out to be the Mayam Bialik show.

"There are real issues, such as we have a lot of homeless people." Hey, Kelly. As a society we can multitask issues.

She is not a good host she spent three quarters of her life apologizing for the stupid stuff that she does on Jeopardy just stepped down gracefully and leave

I love Mayim Bialik's legs

1) It doesn't really make sense for a celebrity talk show host or game show host to assume some type of moral high ground with regard to important global issues. That's not the point of these shows.; 2) Mayim Bialik isn't a good fit for Jeopardy and it has nothing to do with her gender, religion, ethnicity or whatever. If she could perform her duties even to the level of the other female hosts last year, she'd be a fine candidate as the replacement to Alex Trebek.

Mayim is a perfect fit. I don't see why people like to complain about her being the host.

I’m in the minority that prefers Mayim to Ken, but Ken is growing on me. I like Mayim’s ever present joy. Of course, I’ve been a fan since “Blossom”. Ken seemed “dry” at first, but he seems to be loosened up. I just can’t believe the hate towards Mayim. Can’t help to feel it’s because she’s a woman.

Been a jeopardy fan as long as I can remember…. But when she’s hosting I can’t watch it’s really embarrassing how bad she is I don’t get how they let her host this iconic show…. Ughh

I was pissed off that she was trying to change jeopardy, and having no regard for all of Alex's work for all these years. Glad the executives told her to tone it down, because she was trying way too hard. I still prefer Ken Jennings as host.

My husband and I tune out during the weeks she hosts.

Sheldon would LOVE her going Rogue. Look swell with the streak of white in her hair and I'll bet she can do a dandy Suthern' accent and she'd rock the cosplay look.

I mean, this would be a harmless comment if she was actually good at hosting. But she's not. She, by her own admission, has no interest in trivia. She's unfamiliar with the common parlance of the show. She often needs to be reminded of the rules, which seeps through the crude edits. Fantastic actress, not a good Jeopardy host. Give me Ken Jennings any day of the week over her.

Also, she pauses and almost seems "surprised" at the contestant's answers....but her worst habit is failure to promptly rule on incorrect answers, and let the contestants fish around until they get it right. Trebek would never have allowed that to go on.

Yup. She’s not the thin young girl from twenty years ago on Idol. The woman is 40, has had two kids, and is comfortable with her weight. If you look as good as you did 20 years ago then good for you.

Mayim Bialik has been at her prettiest when she HASN'T played "Amy Fowler" on BIG BANG THEORY. She STUNK on that show!!

Not sure if the Carly Karson Variety Show Special is where this should come up for discussion. I don't now why people are concerned about if main facets of the show are talked about correctly. If you're so concerned then just do as Karcly Cartson the Winner of America's Got Idol says and "go help the homeless."

I enjoy her as Jeopardy host more than Ken - she is more fun. The college championship was good as you actually heard the conversations with the competitors

I totally agree, Kelly! It should be the response to every internet fight that happens...oh, every other day hahaha. Love it. Oh, and on the off chance that she ever actually sees this comment 🤣 - Kelly, there is a tiny home community near Austin, TX that provides many homes for the homeless and they are given opportunities to start dignified work again and pay rent for their home. It is (mostly) privately funded I believe. I've looked into doing it in my area and I really think it would be doable to help most of the homeless in my state. If anyone reading this thinks it would be a great idea and would love to see Kelly support it in any way, please like this comment. If I get 100 likes, I'll contact her team with a screenshot of this comment. THANK YOU!

@@judithmoore7892 this. Couric was better. Guthrie was better. If they wanted "educated woman in Hollywood," I'd have given Danica McKellar a shot. And some of the dudes were pretty bad, too. LeVar Burton was a train wreck, Bill Whitaker was a snoozefest. It's not a gender thing at all. It's a Mayim thing. Her rhythm, cadence, and overall game flow are off. She has made some condescending comments, like "You didn't become a surgeon, just an anesthesiologist" to that one dude. I'll give her credit in that she doesn't giggle anymore like she used to, and she's gotten better about the "me" stuff (which still shows up). But she's not it.

She is horrible as a host. Keep Ken, her head bobbing and inane comments are distracting and tedious.

I just had to say something important to you two amazing ladies. It breaks my heart that your lives are so influenced by what people think of your appearance. You are both smart, amazing,successful human beings. I watched the interview with Kelly Clarkson. I think it also comes from a place of going through a divorce.
