Fun fact: Mayim Bialik's grandfather was Hayim Nahman Bialik, one of the greatest Israeli poets of all time, and Israel's national poet (yes, for some reason this is a thing). Every kid learns his poems in school and knows who he was, yet I don't think anyone made that connection to her until an Israeli news site did an article on her and mentioned it.

I give Mayim an A++ for her Wired Autocomplete interview. I have watched many of the other Wired Autocomplete interviews, and I’m convinced that some of the celebs answers were deceptive and fabricated. Mayim is the real deal, and she answered all her questions in Lightning Speed without any hesitation or doubt. You can read her like an open book, she has nothing to hide. She is very sharp. You can tell by the clarity in her speech; she chooses each word with care and precision.

Ok so, to summarise: 1. She's a real life neuroscientist and doctor 2. She speaks Hebrew, Yiddish, Spanish and ASL in varying fluency other than English 3. She plays three instruments already and then learned a fourth one for tbbt 4. She is ambidextrous What can't this gorgeous woman do?

It's funny that deliberately playing a female mirror of Sheldon cemented the role for her. I mean it makes perfect sense, but the greatest aspect of the character of Amy for me was how [writers and Mayim together, I'm sure] kept Amy as top-flight scientist and a little quirky but also made her a bridge between Sheldon and the world of the others- and fairly quickly after those first appearances, accelerating through the show. Plus her fixation on Penny, culminating in that shout of "bestie!" before the wedding episode. Great stuff and like so much of the show, still repaying multiple viewings in reruns. Just tonight saw the episode in which Amy's apartment has been ready for two weeks and she's lying to Sheldon.

She seems like the most DELIGHTFUL person ever. An actual celebrity I would love to have lunch with!

I thought she was an incredible person for acting. Then, I saw her do a free 2 part webinar on Neuro Science. The joy and love for the field beamed out of her as taught us the basics. Truly a multi talented woman. So happy, she is working on Jeopardy, too.

Did y'all know? She was accepted to both *Harvard* and *Yale* . And ya, she turned down both of them! Just imagine being smart enough for rejecting two among the top five colleges in the world ;))

It's hard to say you love something while you're planning on killing it, so I don't see much of a difference in the scenario, even with the lack of torture. If you kill something you don't love it. She doesn't kill animals because she loves them, it doesn't matter how the killing took place. She would not agree with any farming of animals.

the shadowfax I’m not talking about loving the animals. I’m talking about the environmental and economical impacts of industrial farms vs actual farms. Farming of animals is completely natural since we’ve established certain animals as farm animals. Having a farm actually HELPS environments, like bee farms and such. It’s mostly industrialized farms that treat their animals so horribly and destroy the environment around them.

I really adore her. Mayim is an example of smart, educated person, good-looking woman, amazing actress, mom😃 Like Sheldon once said "You truly are the whole package". ❤️

She’s the reason I started watching Big Bang Theory. Amy was by far the most interesting character and she did an amazing job playing her :)

Oh My God, this woman is AMAZING, such a smart, talanted and beautiful woman and she's so funny. I miss her on TV.

I have never seen an interview with her before and now after 2 minutes i can say i love that woman

I love how straight she answers these questions.

You know that age old question ‘if you could invite anyone to a dinner party, who would it be?’ Mayim would definitely be invited to that hypothetical party. I just think she is a breath of fresh air that this world needs. She has no qualms about speaking of life’s imperfections. She embraces uniqueness and stays true to herself. She’s awesome sauce. Vegan, of course.

Is Mayim Bialik a genius Has an undergrad and a Masters degree in neuroscience(psychoneural endocrinology). Speaks English, Spanish, Yiddish and Hebrew. Plays the Harp(sorta), Piano, Bass and Trumpet.

She would make one amazing teacher, if she ever get tired of acting producing and hosting things she could be one of the country's best teachers!

Omg she really is amy. The way she sounds, talks, and acts, no difference between amy on tbbt and mayim real life😂

She's adorable - she has a real person vibe, in a way that makes you think she's one of those people who'd be friendly with the random people in her neighborhood or the guy that she runs into everyday at the coffee shop. She's just so down to Earth :-)
