The most important thing is your starting over. We all stumble. 💜🙏

Thanks for keeping it real and showing that sometimes life happens, we retreat back to old habits, and things get off track. That is real but the most important thing to do is NOT beat yourself up too bad, regroup, rethink, tweak what you need to do better and start over again. I think that including a "REWARD" envelope is an EXCELLENT idea! Everybody has different things that they personally love and spend extra money on. It helps staying on budget overall if you have have a little something to reward yourself short term to stay on track long term.

youre real and show its ok to start over and if you can start by only saving 25 in a 1000 emergency fund its ok. if you can only stuff a few cash envelopes its ok. it will get beter but you must start somewhere. This is how I felt watching your video.

Do you think that when your spending starts to go awry that you don’t film/post because 1. You’re avoiding seeing the damage; 2. Don’t want to show the flaw to the internet? I totally get it. I know that when I start go off-road and my budget is not following the “perfect” setup, I start to avoid it. Then my spending gets worse due to anxiety over the damage I’m inflicting. I know that this is when I need to really stick with it and be real about what I was doing. Super hard though. I know no one wants the judgement, but I would love to see the realness of budgeting. There are some content creators that I skip their videos because they’re young, have lots of money, fully prepared for emergency expenses, have a partner to share expenses, etc. While I love that for them and can’t wait to get there myself, it doesn’t make me want to watch video after video of a beautiful budget. Dang - like y’all never trounce your budget and have to repair? So, keep it going!

Thank you so much for your comment. ❤️ Whenever I do not post/film it’s been because I was crazy busy or in an emotional funk. During my breaks I wanted to film for 2 reasons. 1. Because I love making KZread content and 2. Because filming holds me accountable and when I don’t I can definitely fall off. I don’t mind sharing my journey at all. I want to be as honest as I can. Something’s I keep private because I want to be careful to not share everything on the internet but the fact that I haven’t been as responsible or have past due bills doesn’t bother me to share. We have alllllllll been there at some point. My goal is to relate to the person who’s similar to me….🤗 Thank you for being here and always engaging.

I need a reward envelope. I have waaaay overspent and had to completely start over with even bigger debt. I did beat myself up a bit, but now seeing my savings starting to grow $500.00). That is now giving me satisfaction. I still crave the spending experience.

Glad I found your video today. New subscriber here. This month my auto draft bills really messed up my checking account. I forgot to make sure that I had money in my checking account for my secondary medical insurance. So, it ended up bouncing. 😥. I had the cash at home so had to run to bank before anything else bounce. The good thing is I did have the money to put back in bank to cover the other bills. Sadly, I had to empty all my savings challenges to fix that mistake. So back to square one.

Girlllll the car registration video had me stressed out. Like what they mean you got a ticket and you can’t pay it there, you had to call so many numbers and I’m happy that 1 person helped you out. They were truly a blessing

I also* coincidentally have a 20 year old daughter ❤ but I do have a question, I know this is an older video so hopefully you or someone will see it. When you say your mortgage goes into a separate account howww do you do that ? Like do you just open up another bank account and make your weekly portion of rent to go into it with direct deposit ?

Hi Jasmine. For Triple A.please consider this. Most cell phone companies offer road side assistance. They charge maybe 10 dollars a month. They are amazing! Better than triple A. Unless your state doesn't have it. But look into it! This could save you a lot!

I will tell you that I am in AL. I had car trouble and called my roadside assistance for a tow truck. I waited over 4 hours because the tow companies want to get paid immediately. Apparently the roadside assistance companies pay later. While I was waiting, a neighbor came to pick me up. We were hit by a truck that totalled all 3 vehicles. The state trooper was not happy with tow company. All that to say this road side assistance $$ might be better towards your $1000 emergency fund. Blessings

@@aspiringnetworkengineer1704 especially if the roadside assistance is going to have to reimburse you. That kind of makes it less of a necessity. Not saying getting reimbursed is a bad idea but most people need it when they don't have the $$. Times are tough. Be careful who you depend on. 😀
