Another good one is when you get a raise, don't increase your budget . Instead, have that money go straight to your savings or retirement

Hey Girl Hey! I’m a reformed shopaholic, and I strive to stay on my budget. I try to help family members to create a budget but I keep hearing “I have nothing to budget.” I refuse to speak that negatively over my life. I have a coworker who LOVES labels. I once complimented her bag. Her response “It’s a Fendi and so are my shoes.” I was just saying cute bag; didn’t care about the label 😂

The sacrifice struggle is real! Whew. This is my bday month, I was gonna splurge on a handbag I’ve been tracking since last spring when it sold out. It came back into stock. I put it in my cart. Then I heard your voice in my head…BESTIE, you gonna spend $500 ON A bag or put it towards having money IN your bag?? I chose the latter, and combined with my tax refund, by the time my bday is here, I’ll have paid off a CC. One down, one to go. Adulting is 😩😩 but necessary.

Such an important video!! Staying in debt is like spending future paychecks before we even earn them!! So it feels like we're working for free because the money is already gone before we get it!! It's such a terrible cycle. Great video friend!! 🙏❤️

The main reason I’ve beeen having insufficient funds is simply laziness. Similar to my diet I’ll do well for a few days then I say well I’ll just do better tomorrow. Then, I hear my granddaddy voice say don’t put off tomorrow what you can do today. I can save my money shoot I’m barely making that much so I’ll eat at home for a few days, I’ll cancel that membership and do it myself. I have the power because through Christ ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. I know better already so I have to be obedient and do better. Thank you for sharing your tips and just for being you. I needed this more than you know.

🙏🏾 remember that it took time to get in debt it’ll take time to get out of it. We got this, by even watching shows you are ready to go it just takes one step forward even if it’s only a few dollars to spare paying what you have now with gratitude will allow you to see much more coming swiftly.

#8 is so important. It's not just savings, it's knowing what to do with that savings. The opportunity cost of leaving savings in low/no interest accounts losing money to inflation is so real.

I have been working on my finances for years and i would like to say that i am doing so well with my finances, yaaaaaaaaaay hallelujah. One thing that you forgot to mention is emotional spending, i have heard that people go really really hard broke with emotional spending. I feel incredibly bad for people that end up in that situation.

Another way to increase your income without getting a raise is to pay off debt..for example when I stopped paying $150 on my Home depot CC and paid it off and stopped using it... That raised my income by an Xtra $150 a month.. Took me a little figure out how to give myself a raise instead of waiting on my employer to do it..

Yes, I had to cut back on watching so many influencers because I was being influenced even by just the Amazon finds. I have been able to control it now because I realize I was spending too much. I have an Amazon budget and it has to be cash only. No more charging on the account. Thank you for all the advice and tips you are giving. My goal this year is to pay off 3/4 of all my credit cards and save more.

Great tips! Definitely having a Broke mindset will keep you broke! Speaking fruitfulness and increase into existence will come to pass, but you also have to do the work! It's important to practice good stewardship of your resources. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽. Proverbs 3:9-10 Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.”

Thanks for the video. If you feel deprived you won't succeed. Find a thing/reason/goal that you want more than staying where you are and can get excited about. This will give you a purpose or path to not feel deprive when not doing or buying something so that you can get what you want with excitement no matter who or what wants to bring you down. It can be very small. Then do it over and over till it is a new habit and way of life.

Here is a person who regrets cashing out her share in a stock when it was going done. 😢 Sometimes our mind-set keeps us broke. I didn't listen and allowed fear to take over. My brother kept telling me to ignore and act as if that money was extra. My minset was the opposite and it was a lost. Its like looking at a glass half filled or half empty. Lesson Learn: accept advice from those with knowledge and wisdom. I invested approximately $400 of my income tax returns for one share, and it went down to $80. Now that stock is worth $850. 😢 🙏

Good evening. What is the name of the song that you play at the end of your video and who is the artist. I like the song. I also am new to your channel and love your videos.
