The way my life is , I have no choice but to have no spend. I’ve always been frugal. I’m a single mom of 3 young adults. I have been for a while. I’m the only one paying the bills. God have been my helper and sustainer. I pay my tithes and offering faithfully. So he always blesses me.

I was out of control in July... I'm just glad July is over so I can start this no spend month.🙂 I started deleting my credit cards from both my samsung and Google wallets. Now if I'm out I have to take a card out of my wallet and it gives me time to think, I definitely returned alot of stuff this month. I am worse if I have cash so a cash budget wouldn't help me. I used my credit card points to get a new toaster and kettle...about to get a microwave too 😄.

I just found you and am SO impressed by your determination to not spend. You are the inspiration that I needed! Also, I love your attitude towards tithing, and that you recognize when the Lord is reaching out to you.

To me, giving is a pure blessing. Your blessing someone else that may need that help, or blessing the church in general because i mean hey, running a church is not really cheap either. They have electricity power to pay for, they have the actual building to pay for if it not actually payed off then they still have to make payments on it. So i have nothing against helping out sometimes like that so i am not judging you for that. At the end of the day, if you are happy about giving like that, then yaaaaaaaaaay right on for you, like you go girl.

It's so nice to meet you and your community Jazmine! This video showed up just in time!!! I do intend on doing a No Spend month for August, and I can purchase the workbook midweek once I get my paycheck. 🙂 Also, I'm a brand new subscriber and I so appreciate the fact that you took the time to break down - step by step - how someone can go through the No Spend challenge. My husband and I have been approved for a new apartment that we're moving into in Feb. of next year, and I want to put my extra money towards movers and some updated furniture. I’m at the part where you talking about how much money you saved your friend on subscriptions. My guess is $125. When I started my budget journey 2 months ago, I found I had approx $45 of subscriptions coming from my accounts. There was at least 3 subs coming out every week! Needless to say, I fixed that AND i got a refund of them all for the last 6 months. Cra-zy!!!

So I was so excited because I actually had money to put in my sinking funds envelope until I got a call from my dentist. So now I have to give that money to them x 3. I was very upset, to say the least. Now I have to start all over again, which is frustrating but I will not give up.

Can I make a suggestion? Instead of raising the amount of the raffle, how about drawing for 2 winners? That way the more people who join will increase a persons chance of winning instead of lowering the chance. It's just a suggestion but I would be more likely to enter if I know that if a bunch of people enter I would have a chance of 1 of the 2 prizes.

No spend means no frivolous spending on things you don’t need, spending on your car is a necessity because you need your car to take you to work, run errands ect…..

That is good!

You obviously spend money on nails which aren't necessary. And buying a dedicated bòok just to document your spending is also unnecessary. Why just use paper already in your home or put notes on your phone? You have good ideas though.
