I have no issue with MS but Capcom has some iconic and well known reps that many can get behind on.

Those in the fighting game community seem to really appreciate the character which is WAY nicer than all the people who think that just because they, the un cultured ones. don’t know him he shouldn’t be in the game. All we need is Marvel 4 with the Fantastic Four, 4v4 and 👀during phase 4.... rockmenx8xx It could be possible that Namco Bandai is very strict or expensive with their IPs making other companies difficult to get them or that their moveset is too complicated to be implemented in other simpler fighting game

So happy SNK making a resurgence. Loooved then in the arcade days

This is the best reaction I've seen so far, he really knows what's going on. I was sooo excited about this character I couldn't believe my eyes, the snk intro and the envelope with the [s] as if Sakurai was calling Terry himself and then everyone fighting to get it, recreating geese's death. Epic!! And yes I'm hoping he also has his Garou outfit.

Finally, someone who truly appreciates Terry being the 4th DLC fighter! Wouldn't expect anything less from you, Max!

Vafeas The Conqueror I appreciate it as well, see I’m no strange to SNK’s fighting games and I’ve played a few before (in the arcade no less), so I know why this is so important. But I can see the MAIN reason why Terry is in the game: SNK was a major supporter of the Nintendo Switch in the console’s early days, creating collections of there best games and selling them at reasonable prices to help keep consumers satisfied. Nintendo must have been so grateful that they were like “thanks for the help SNK. Now we’d like to help you back! How about we smack one of your characters in Smash Bros?” If that’s why he’s in, then that makes Terry Bogard the greatest thank you gift of all time!

@@NoahDaArk Well, King of Fighters also had an impact on Sakurai before developing Smash... in an interview to The Guardian 1 year ago he said: “In the arcades, when I was younger, there was a game called King of Fighters 95, and I thought I was pretty good. I had a 50-strong win streak on Street Fighter 2 around that time. So I was playing King of Fighters once - and the way arcades are set up in Japan, you can’t really see the person you’re playing against, because you’re on opposite sides of the cabinet. I was feeling pleased with myself because I was winning, and it turned out to be a total beginner with their partner, just trying to have fun, and I thought, ‘Oh no, I shouldn’t have beaten them so badly. Now they’re going to feel like they never want to play it again!’ It’s important to think about the beginner crowd.”

Alir Niño Wait! So if it wasn’t for King of Fighters and Terry Bogard, Sakurai would have never wanted to make Smash Bros fun for everyone. So does that mean that Terry invented Smash Bros and, in some strange ironic fate, was destined to never appear in any game EXCEPT for the Ultimate Smash Brothers, a celebration of that very same series?

I don’t even play Smash, but I grew up in the arcades during the 90’s, played Fatal Fury, Art Of Fighting, and King of Fighters, into the ground. so I feel an incredible nostalgic trip watching Terry get so much shine

@@OhNoTheFace If you haven't played an SNK fighting game then there's a good chance you won't know ANY SNK characters. Most people who grew up with a Nintendo system, which means about 90% of Smash players, most likely didn't care/know about (and therefore didn't play) Fatal Fury or KoF. And also, good job calling other people idiots just because they don't know a video game character.

@kenmasters Z No I didn't miss out on anything, I played KoF 97 with my friends when we were young. We mostly played Bloody Roar 2 and SamSho tho. My point was that a lot of Smash players really don't know anything about SNK games, especially people that aren't fighting games fans, they may have heard of SNK from Metal Slug but that's about it.

The best thing about this trailer is that SNK can use it again for different characters if they wanted.

Smash has a Final Fantasy character, a Street Fighter character, and an SNK character. Tekken does too. Holding out for either a Smash/Nintendo character in Tekken, or a Tekken character in Smash.

Determined Dark mainly because not a lot of core all-around fighting game community folks make reaction videos to Nintendo Directs. Max is one of the few that do.

Honestly, Max's Smash reactions are often the most genuine and you can tell he appreciates the fact that Ultimate is basically, in his own words, "Video Games: the Game".
