Yeah if you played this game first time in vr then that experience would be way better than with a TV, especially with how the psvr2s screen is 4k and covers your whole sight, better controllers and more shooting this cant really fail

Really enjoyed this showcase. Short and straight to the point. Maybe later down the line there will be a lengthier, more detailed presentation that covers all the games here and more but for what they showed it definitely got my attention, with Rollerdrome being an unexpected but welcome surprise. Also, ending the State of Play with FFXVI was definitely the right call.

@@Ukaran FF7R2 was never going to come out before 2024. The first one released in 2020. 4 years are the minimum amount of time needed for the development of a bigger sequel. Hell, 2025 sounds more realistic tbh

Yeah loving rhe darker tone of RE4, still wish it were CV but as long as they put as much love into it as RE2R and not 3R I'm happy. Also happy to see Dead Space live on in some fashion.

The maker of Eternights was part of the Persona 5 fan group. He was inspired to make a game that was Persona-inspired hence the dating and calendar aspect of the game. It looks good and worth playing for an indie game. Will play on Steam.

I actually wish there was 2 male characters you could date too, or at least take one female companion away for a male one so its in more balance for the female playerbase to choose. Dunno how far the dating sim aspect is going to go but I want a topless naked dateable character scene in there!

I'm still hoping that Valve puts Half-Life: Alyx on PSVR2 so more people can experience it. Alyx is easily one of my favorite VR games.

The eyetracking enables developers to make pipelines for foveated rendering and it is really exciting. Hopefully the eyetracking works flawlessly and most developers get the hang of it as it lessens the strain of having to render two high fidelity viewports at insane framerates by focusing rendering budget at mostly what you are focused at at any time while peripheral items outside of your focusfield can be rendered at much lower overall detail without being really noticable. Its taking advantage of how our vision and our brains works and its all very fascinating stuff how our eyes are built and how the brain processes, injects and infer information to form a wholistic image when the sensory information it is infact actually reading is quite incomplete. Not every game is going to utilize it probably, but if the tracking is sufficient enough from a speed and accuracy standpoint and the developers know how to set set up their pipelines it is going to be pretty amazing. VR is about to blow a lot of minds in the coming couple of years.

I swear Max has the best Reactions vids on youtube lol, love to watch em all.

Love how YoshiP said the next trailer would make you want to go out and buy it immediately, and Max's soul left his body when the release date showed up.

The first thing I would do with Spider-Man PC is to mod in the old Peter face 😂

Max's youthful exuberance at the Street Fighter trailer didn't disappoint.

This is almost like Max’s dream direct dood.

Just a note for Resident Evil 4; Matthew Mercer has confirmed on Twitter that he will not be returning as Leon for this game (though he said he was happy to pass the torch)

Absolutely loved this state of play. Even the VR stuff looked good a horizon VR game is an awesome idea. My biggest hype moment was easily street fighter 6. Can’t wait to see what everyone posts when these games come out

Man Street Fighter is looking amazing. Luke'a design is soo good, the animations are so fluid, heavy packing and at the same time so heavy hitting. So much colors ans personality and style. Goddamm i want to play this game so much.

Easily the best State of Play I've ever watched! So many good games got showed and the best is yet to come!

At the end of the resident evil 4 trailer, underneath the ps5 and capcom logo, it says: "Leon's brown sheepskin leather bomber jacket appears with permission from Schott NYC." Sounds like they borrowed or rented a rare bomber jacket from a company in new york to scan into the game.

Just checked it out and pretty goddamn good, felt like it was made for Max. The idea to take RE4 in a darker tone skin to RE2R looks amazing and being in VR was a suprise. Hope they do it justice after RE3R. SF5 looks amazing so far with the graffiti and colourful arstyle, Chun Li looking great, and the new character looks great so far.

@@mickeymouse7726 Huge difference. State of plays - 20-30 mins of bi-monthly information. Could be focused on one 1st party game or multiple indies, third parties etc. just to keep you updated. Showcase - 1-2 hours of non stop AAA games to hype up the gaming world. Where you expect to see the biggest titles for the console. (The E3 equivalent)

I swear to god. Today I was at the bank depositing a 20 I stole from a 7 year olds birthday card when a robber came in and told everyone to get on the ground. Without hesitation I whipped out my Morbius edition Plamsa G-fuel and snorted it. I was filled with a feeling that I can only describe as it was if Jared Leto was inside me. I immediately ripped off my 30 seconds to Mars t-shirt and screamed “it’s morbin’ time!”. The robber immediately gave themselves up and everyone clapped

Dood I am definitely like max, of how excited I was during the PlayStation state of play event. I was not expecting seeing Resident Evil 4 remake looking this good at all and I will confess and admit that I was kind of hoping that the order also show a remake of Resident Evil Code Veronica, cuz that is the true Resident Evil 3, and like Max I too was hyped for this game. 20:26 Both me and Max's Reaction to the second biggest thing. I was also excited for was the Street fighter 6 big reveal gameplay that looks so amazing and that we are going to have cross-play for the first time in a long time that Street fighter is going to be part of the Xbox family, Xbox Series X, is amazing in on itself.

I've totally been calling that FFXVI would still be a long way off. Although, my other prediction is that, after all of this radio silence on FFVII:R2, that it will get a late in the year reveal to be coming out end of this year.

The FF 16 release date is worrying for remake pt 2 but it's in line with me thinking this will be a much bigger game than pt 1 and they hear the complaints that a lot of people still can't play intermission because of the PS5 shortage. The Resi 4 remake and SF6 look great and Callisto looks sick.

This was the best State of Play in a long time. Top 3! I am definitely grabbing half of what they showed. Final Fantasy XVI is bittersweet... but it will be worth the wait. Definitely is looking like FF7R Part 2 will be 2024 and maybe Part 3 2027.

One of the better yes. And now I'm even more hyped for XVI. And seeing the full staff recently where the people working I actually have faith in. I did like XV. One of the few people I admit lol. But after the lat update it became a game without the bugs and completed stuff. I'm glad unlike that team this team actually had time to work on it lol
