Yeah but re3 has similar settings and areas to 2 so I think it wasn’t that much of a hassle to make 3 since Mr.X and raccoon city are the foundation to making 3 with nemesis. One year difference between them and a few new mechanics and bam RE3 remake jus hope we get to see spiders and more varieties of zombies. Hell there bringing back hunters, why not crimson zombies? Maybe I’m asking for too much tho.

RE2 was always scary to me for its incredible atmosphere and ability to subvert my expectations when I thought something scary was about to happen. RE3 was scary to me for having Nemesis, a creature I could never predict, who I sucked at fighting and became too nervous to try again each time he killed me.

But I mistook the name 'Hunter Gamma' as being intended to refer to the special 'Red coloured hunters' that carlos had to deal with in the hospital..that were different from the series usual ordinary green reptilian ones.. I didn't realise 'Gamma' refered to the completely different 'frog mouth' versions instead. Thanks for clearing that up.

I was too young to play the older ones, I remember watching my older cousin play it and I couldn't watch it because it was too scary so I don't know the story or too much lore behind the last handful of remakes. Fast forward I got back into resident evil since 4 on gc and I've enjoyed all of them since. Re2 was dope af and I'm sure this will be as well.

@@CulturedDegenerate And very easily grabbed at that length, which is where the training should also come in. It gives the enemy an advantage as the neck is actually pretty weak to resisting movement, so your head being jerked around throws off all of your senses. It is also very hard to pull away with enough force to rip out a handful of hair. If you managed, you'd have bleeding, and your scalp bleeds profusely even from minor damage. So you'd have that to worry about getting in your eyes too, if you got away.

Something about Carlos reminds me of Jon Bernthal, kinda the way he looks and his mannerisms. He's definitely the best redesign of these new games by far.

And who I belive also wrote the 'Be glad your not here rookie' on the back of his welcome note, after he was bitten..and left mostly alone in the RPD. Marvin was the Senior Lt. In the RPD, and also in the West wing of the station, where leon was to work & Marvin already had his desk set up for him, ready to go..complete with welcome party signage, for his new rookie. And in the REmake2, he has even gone to the trouble of leaving Leon's desk with 2 padlocks with his '1st Assignment'..as well as leaving him a bonus extended mag for his handgun, Matilda.. (the type, 9mm VP-70M, he clearly already knew). Who else could it possibly have been, to arrange all that, within the RPD?

Jill: “Maybe I can hit the fuel tank” -Just then get’s a clear & close up shot of said fuel tank- Idiot playing: -Immediately proceeds to aim for the shiny yellow part of Nemesis’ firing arm instead-

My guess is that it is another weak spot , the tank seems to take more damage when it's red hot (You know , shoot the shiny parts), so it would make sense if shooting the vents on the flamethrower would cause the tank to become hot faster/ stay hot for longer , the demo fight is over in like 1 minute anyway , probably the actual fight will be longer and they wanted to show the different weak points in some way :V.

@Mike Jones Resident evil bosses always have a limited amount of hp , even by not hitting them in the weak spots , sooner or later they will die , the point of this demo was to showcase some of the gameplay , Nemesis will surely have way more hp in the final release , and it will actually try to hit the player instead of burning the wood around him .

I think you shoot the fuel tank to make that flamethrower overheat and it has taht yellow thingy out to cool it down, which you can destroy it so nemesis lose hi flamethrower

Nemesis looks like he might be nightmare fuel. I love that

The new design really has grown on me, he looks badass AND scary at the same time.

I feel exactly the same way. I'm caught between wanting to be excited for this game yet I don't want to see any spoilers.

It happened slightly(?) before 2, and when shit was starting to hit the fan. It would make sense.

I repeat: "Run, escape, there's the Nemesis!!"

I love it. The fact that he may randomly break into a sprint will make encounters with him much more nerve racking.

Me when i first head of the REmake3: OOH MAN! MORE BLAST FROM THE PAST WITH CAPGOD! This game wasint that scary back then compared to RE2 And i feel like its not gonna be as scary as REmake 2 which made me scare quit at some point. *Nemesis Runs and jumps after you* *Chemera-like spiders now exist again* Me:Should i had really pre-ordered this??? O.O;;;;

I mean if the RE3 didn't scare you enough, you clearly always ran from nemesis and never encountered the gammas in caution.

@@kennethbryant5819 Back then around early 00's when i played this game for the first time i already had experience with the previous RE Games as well as other horror franchises as a kid, however when i played RE3 It felt more like an action game to me if anything, specially when i got used to the dodging like mid-game through, However i will admit Nemesis did make my heart beat fast at times whenever i was near death from the Minor zombies or BOW's bit i always thought him really cool instead of scary kinda like a Terminator if anything. I used to call him "Better Tyrant" back then since the thought of him using guns and weapons was pretty cool.

Love the intro Max I get hyped up every time. Can’t wait for this game its gonna be awesome

Damn!!! I regret looking at this. It gave away some key surprise moments of the Nemesis coming after you.

Easy Allies shoutout, they deserve so much more love.

2:05 OMG if i remember correctly Dino-bites is a Ps1 game I have played when I was only 6 ( I don't think it's the right name but the characters are very familiar)

I want an Outbreak remake so bad as wel... both files into one game. Also a RE Zero remake is long overdue

so looking forward to this Max.

The dodge seems like the Revelations 2 mechanic where you can do it freely but here it seems they added the slow-mo shot as a reward. Looks great

I was a little skeptical of this remake because of the short development time and not having the nostalgia for it like RE2 but damn this looks awesome. This gameplay reveal really sold me on it

It didn't have a short development time, they just had tge foresight that if they remade 2 everyone would want a remake of 3 as well. Especially since Nemesis was originally attended to be more of a behind the action story expansion and not actually RE3. Code Veronica went under the title of RE3 in CapCom. It only makes sense to remake Nemesis along side RE2.
