@@blitzthreesix Nah, ever since RE7 they've been pumping out hit after hit, from MHW's massive success, resurrecting the MegaMan franchise from limbo, revived DMC from the dead, and a lot more. The only major blunder so far aside from the Fighting Game division imo is RE3R, and even then it's still great overall.

Wasn't the point of capcom releasing darkstalkers hd at one point is to see how many people are invested in it? And it turned out that not many people bought it, so that in turn they cancelled any plans of making a sequel? I got no credible sources by the way so I'm not sure. Just read some comments somewhere and did not bother to fact check.

That reaction to Akira's reveal is so satisfying. That's some legit joy and it is haertwarming AF. Dan is my favorite part of Street Fighter, so I'm also pretty pleased with this reveal. I might be terrible at the game, but he'll always be my favorite character.

I could never speak as a true Rival Schools fan the only experience I have with it is playing as Batsu in TvC and Kyosuke in SNKvC (and looking up the characters), but I still loved Akira’s design and the character seemed cool so I’m excited

His taunts are going to be part of his combos now, this is just amazing. Welcome back Dan!

Besides, lets be real here, Darkstalkers is dead. NOBODY bought Resurrection, which was enough to tell them its not a good investment.

Actually, it's story related. In SF3, it's explained that he started with 1 arm because she was afraid of killing people fighting at full power. 5 happens before 3, so his end story is probably him hurting someone really badly and him starting to fear himself.

@@feardatd7961 I know, I'm just pointing out how the artists of SFV gave him a redesign with such a lack of major changes, but knew his character needed very few changes to convey his age relative to SFIII. Props for knowing this though, the Street Fighter timeline is confusing!

@max lopez KOF All Stars X TEKKEN 7 was the BEST update that game ever had. I wish it was still going on since I really liked seeing TEKKEN characters in a KOF Game. Maybe is TEKKEN x Street Fighter ever happened they can add some KOF Characters as Guest DLC (Maybe even Virtua Fighter).

I've said *FOR YEARS* if they were going to bring a Rival Schools character it'd be a female, and that it'd be Akira. Batsu would've been too obvious.

@@lonewander6772 Tiffany Lord is great for many reasons, but we already have 2 boxers. Also, I've always felt that boxers are wasted on 2D fighters. I say use her for the fabled Tekken x Street Fighter.

Max is a fighting game veteran, he knows very well what people wants in fighting games so his predictions are right almost every time. Even if he knew and lied, it doesn't hurt anyone. At least he's not scamming children like some other "influencers" I've seen around.
