Max Hazan Customizes the Holy Grail in LA // Revival Daily 119

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Revival takes a detour on the way to the airport to get a lengthy tour of Max Hazan's studio apartment/sweatshop converted into a world-class custom motorcycle fabrication shop. Alan and Max catch up on the organic approach to learning how to build motorcycles while Max shows us his sousaphone, makes sure that we know he lifts weights, and demonstrates the critical points of chuck-key safety. Sit back and enjoy part one of our LA trip!

I've followed Max on Instagram for ages since a build blew my mind. Never knew what he looked like or where he was from. I think I pictured a much older dude with grey hair and a beret and a pre hipster og quaffed moustache or beard. In Germany. Surrounded with blueprints and math formulae writter all over the walls. So this was quite a fucking surprise! An unassuming grand master. Nice video.

15:25 I used to have a shop with no windows. You lose your sense of time and the humming of the ballasts on the fluorescent lights becomes maddening. It's seriously like torturing a prisoner. I know exactly what he means. You gotta have windows.
